I JUST finished my private lesson on this topic with my truly great Italian teacher - but this video really clarified the topic for me. I now understand the idea of movement with the verb essere and that I must consider gender and quantity when using it. A private Italian lesson is great to challenge you to have a conversation but the Passione Italiana videos are clear, concise, and a great addition to anyone learning Italian. After searching through the endless dreary Italian lesson videos on KZbin - Passione Italiana is truly the best - in a different league. Brava!

I’m learning too! I speak Thai as a first language and thought it would be extremely hard to learn Italian but since I also know English it’s been going good! I can register more stuff knowing two languages. I can understand the “quanti anni hai/ha” or “come si chiama”! In English you ask differently but Im Thai you ask it the same way as Italian. You ask how many years one has to ask thier age or what is one called to ask thier name. Interesting!
