Sir, the encoding of your 9th segment (0111) would be decoded as a prefix to segment (011) ie 3 "ABB" followed by symbol 1 ie "B" Also in this alphabet with only 2 symbols you could represent each A by 0 and each B by 1 so the whole message could be reduced to only as many bits as there are letters ie 22 bits while your "compressed message is 9*4 bits = 36 bits long
