I agree led to a lot of bs plate appearances. The ump was unable to track any breaking pitches that broke to the outside of the strike zone or ones that broke out and back in. I’m an LSU fan and I can say the calls were horrendous both ways. But I think this really hurt a lot of the pitchers commands. Skenes had to rely solely on his fastball which is why he gave up those homers early. But the gamecocks are legit. There batting order is a power house.

It could be a taunt or just excitement that they added another homer to their stats to stay in #1 position for HR’s in the NCAA. I think for them it was excitement and celebration because I honestly didn’t see direct taunts at any opposing players.
