In Greece we call it pilafi (πιλάφι), I think the recipe was brought over from Persia during the time of Alexander the Great, there are very many different versions. From where my parents came from in Greece, the rice is fluffy and cooked in a meat stock, then the mixture placed on top. My mum used to make one with really tender meat, mushrooms and a bolognaise-like thick sauce and a variety of vegetables, was amazing.

How much is the public transport in Kampala ???
@Dr.lukwagoAsuman2 жыл бұрын
Charges are based on distance, 14- seater minibus charges about 1.5 dollars(5000 shillings) for a 10 km distance, motor cycle 🚲 (Boda boda) may charge 15000 shillings. Longer distances between cities( buses charge 30,000 -60,000 shillings) for 150 km-500 km. Transport system is run by individuals who may own one or more cars 🚗/buses /motorcycles/bicycles, or some companies.
