This is not intended for those on a budget looking to retire but a younger single person looking to get started in pursuit of work, and wishing to move to Thailand for a better life. #expat #movingabroad #thailand #workinginthailand

Thanks Dan.

This is more realistic than the $1000 a month/8,000 baht condo posters.

2000 baht per month for gym seems unusually high for thailand considering local wages...

70000 bahts??? I spend twice that much per month and I lived for 8 months in Pattaya.

Can do it a lot cheaper than that, what Dan is describing here is a very comfortable lifestyle.

Where are u based? Are u in Pattaya itself or another city? Good videos. Yeah and your info is spot on. In Vietnam you need about 45 million VND (1755 USD) and you have the life of upper middle class. But the real issue is that in South East Asia every night is Friday night and alcohol is a demon that slowly creeps in. You see a lot of older western men in Saigon at 11am already with a table full of empty beer bottles. Food can be cheap if you buy at a local market instead of going 3 times a day to a restaurant. You need to cook and keep a healthy diet.
