I think she missed something on Torbjörn. Im a GM T500 Mercy Main myself and Mercy in Valk can easily take down the turret, even in his ult, Mercy outheals herself when in Valk :)

Stay on the edge of beam Don’t always trust your team Your life is more valuable (Probably the only one which doesn’t cause there’s no reason to pop Valkyrie if your about to die because you can’t lose it, also I find it hilarious that battle mercy is a thing)

I do almost all of these thing but what people on my team whine about the most is the fact that sometimes I need to leave them and help heal just because they're Ana or Baptiste or Moira doesn't mean they'll never need help, I've heard Moiras start complaining that I'm healing but I literally just heard the voice line that's says she out of juice so yeah I'm gonna poke over especially if you don't have coalescence, Ana doesn't always heal sometimes she's tries to kill enemies to and she needs to be taken care of the most and Baptiste has a broken ability that makes him a massive target before ults happen and I need him alive if y'all are depending on him but won't help.

It's your job to help your main support or the team falls apart. It's usually much easier if a dps or off tank helps your main support but they won't 80% of the time. I had to basically baby sit my Ana because she was being hard focused. I couldn't pocket Pharah as much. Pharah goot hooked, one shot and blamed me. While I don't play Mercy often I do respect Mercy players because I can't stand to play her😂

I've been playing ow for aroun 1.5 years already and suddenly I decided to play supp I mostly play ana/moira in comp, but today my team asked me to switch to Mercy (I only played her for 25 mins in total so i didn't have that high hopes) After playing her for a solid 1.5 rounds i understood that she is very fun and challenging to play. So this video will help me a lot in future. And also i have a question. No matter how hard i try i can't find a mercy vertical GA workshop code If anyone knows one (for example the one shown in the video) would really appreciate if you could leave the code in replies

If you just want to practice superjumping, going into the practice range w/ the bots works well. If you're stuck on timing, there's a trick where you go to SJ and see where you land and spray the ground. Every time you go to SJ to that bot, you can look down and see the spray and jump using that as a reference. Hopefully that explanation makes sense, it's a lot easier to understand visually but yeah it's helped lots of people w/ timing and practice

Nope! There's a setting now that is "prefer facing target". When you have that on, if you're looking at a target but attached to an ally, it will fly to whoever you are looking at. But if you're not looking at anyone and attached to a target, it will fly to them. It just combines the two old settings. It just got added last month during the Halloween event, and quite frankly, I'm surprised it wasn't gone over in the video!

Great video! Just a singular note regarding Torb's turret: it's never really Mercy's job to deal with, but since her pistol has no falloff she can easily outrange it if she sees it (providing he's not babysitting it). You can get free, safe damage on it and destroy it if your team isn't but it's causing problems.

I think it's a similar situation where this is Zen and Lucio job as well to break it. Anyway, even if it's not your job, you should do it. As Reinhardt, for example, I use firestrike to break the turret if nobody did it yet.

The caveat is if Mercy just damage-boosts another hero who is shooting the turret, it will go down the fastest (depending on distance/falloff; team co-ordination/rank matters). It's a very situational tip, but something to keep in mind when nobody is touching the turret and it's getting good value.

If he doesn't pin you against a wall with it, or catch you right in the face, I think it's one of the easier offensive ults to survive on Mercy (or any skinny mobile hero). You want to get away, he wants to push you away, really you're helping each other. Of course, if he gets you at point blank range and you're taking the entire ~800dps or so, you're gone before it pushes you far enough.

Mei’s freeze isn’t fast enough to stop rez from what I’ve seen.

Cast time for Rez is 1.75 seconds, minimum freeze time is about 1.5 seconds. Unless she's very fast on the trigger, you're probably getting it off. (Of course, you're practically guaranteed to die immediately, so it's still a very bad idea unless the suicide rez makes tactical sense.)

it's about timing and making sure you have super jumped early enough that you are out of the vertical range of shatter. a lot of people don't realize that shatter has a vertical range. also, in general, it's better to just be out of shatter distance in the first place. don't rely on super jump to save you from positioning errors.

As a former Sigma main and certified Mercy hater, the rock tip is total bullshit, since even if the guy can react to it, he can't cast and land the shot unless you're rather close before rez kicks in, and this isn't even taking into account cover-rezzing, rezzing with a teammate's protection, or latency bullshit

this is an older comment, but I disagree. good Sigmas can predict when a Mercy might res and will start to throw the rock when they see a Mercy begin to GA towards the corpse, before the res even begins.then, the rock will make impact before the res is complete and cancel it. even if they hit Mercy before she starts a res, getting rocked is usually more than enough to get a Mercy to retreat. good rock usage is about being able to predict stuff because of the delay between pressing the button and the rock hitting the target.

Skiesti says to prioritise your life over your teammates. As long as you’re in a good position to heal/damage boost and to help your teammates you should be fine. Also, communicate with your team so that they know not to push in without team support.
