This is a video podcast interview with 1 million winner Natalie Bostelman. She won 1 million dollars from the Publishers Clearing House (PCH) in 2008. She is interviewed by host Timothy Schultz, who is a lottery winner; he won the Powerball in 1999.
This 1 million winner interview with Natalie Bostelman covers many topics, such as how it changed her life and what advice she has for others who play the Publishers Clearing House.
Natalie Bostelman is the first person to both win the PCH and then later become a Goodwill Ambassador for them, helping award major prizes to others. In this podcast interview, they also discuss the prospect of the Law of Attraction and manifestation when it comes to winning major prizes.
Timothy Schultz is an author, filmmaker and KZbinr with Bullhead Entertainment. In 1999, he won the lottery before going back to college to study film, journalism and broadcast news. He's now combining his experience with his desire to meet and interview others that he finds fascinating, including other lottery winners and people who have come into sudden wealth and fame.

good interview , side note on the technical side, would be awesome to use a compressor to equal out the levels because nat vocal mic is really loud and yours is really low so when trying to hear you and her i gotta keep my finger on the volume button to balance it out

This was a great interview. One thing I have noticed whenever winners are interviewed, they never say how much they actually ended up with after taxes or the percentage of tax. I’ve heard the tax is relatively 50%. Is that accurate?

Thanks for your comment and your support! Some of the winners I've interviewed have been pretty transparent about how much they took home versus how much they were taxed. I don't always press people on it if they don't want to speak about it, but it's true, in the USA there are some hefty taxes if you win the lottery. The federal government charges nearly 40% tax in addition to the local state taxes, which vary by state. In other places, such as Canada and some countries in Europe, there are actually no taxes! It's interesting; I'll probably do a video about this sometime!
