Another great video, thanks. Do you know if RSBN works with the new Persian Gulf map? Wikipedia tells me that Iran used to use it so presumably there were some RSBN stations at some point. Thanks. edit: I see from the kneeboard that RSBN stations exist for the other 3 maps. There's Iranian skins for the Mig 21 so hopefully Leatherneck will give PG an RSBN list soon as well. My PG mission crashes if I try to load the Mig 21 on it for now so hopefully they'll get that sorted soon (existing thread on the forums about it so its a known issue). We'll hopefully have something else to fly on Persian Gulf on Wednesday anyway.

I see in the release notes today "MiG-21Bis now works in the Persian Gulf". And it does. Apparently we got rain drops as well. So excited that I tried my 1-aircraft mission from Bandar Abbas before I even looked at the F/A 18. I did like their first training mission for the Hornet though, nice gentle introduction. Nice touch to leave you by an airfield as well.

Got the MiG a while ago, put it aside because I got frustrated and to collect more expirience in DCS in general and now I am revisiting the bird. What do you mean exactly by 30° off? Is it in the same manner as you can set your TACAN, once it has a signal onto the heading of the active runway? Just 30° off the RSBN directory?

One more question sir, despite being only 1 minute long, I cannot imagine that the production tome of these 1 minute DCS videos is 1 minute. How long does it take you on average to create a video? Not counting the seat time you spend learning the aircraft.

Crash Laobi The Extremely Casual Gamer well if you like the hardcore mig-21 in dcs I am sure you will like falcon 4 so give it a few more shots! Its freaking awesome if you know how everything works etc. KSP is a verry good option too because you can make like unlimmited tutorials out of that (how to make stable planes/rocket, how to fly to planet, delta V, etc. futhermore I like il-2 cliffs of dover and battle of stalingrad. Civilian flight sims are also great like p3d and x-plane 11 (I am planning to buy the verry promising x-plane 11)

***** I like aircraft with quirks, one of the reasons I like the old stuff. Sure the modern jets are fun but when I fly the F15 or the Su I don't much feel like I'm flying it, I feel like it's flying me. They feel very much like a hot cousin; hands off. I've wanted to make more videos recently but I just haven't had the time. Got some good footage too of me and friend of mine messing about in the Spit, F15, Hawk and Huey.
