shooting frostbolt at rag for 5 mins and not because i think its better rotationally but because the combat of the game as a whole felt more intentional and less chaotic. In an ideal world i would like something in-between this crazy lance spam monstrosity that blizzard created and the monotonous mentally AFK spam frostbolt design.

Arcane is clunky but at least has more sustained dps. Frost and Fire are uptime specs. Procs good, your charting. Procs not good and even the healer might be pumping out more. Overall they keep decent dps but very inconsistent and frustrating. Have been like this since MoP.

Same here, looking for a non glacial spike build. I quit frost because of this skill, I do prefer Legion frost. Thermal void build and glove legendary, every time you cast an ice lance it reduces your Icyvein cd. Your shatter mechanics build haste>crit so you cast fast and always crit. I miss it Now you are force to take glacial because no other options. This is just my opinion though, someone that play only frost mage and only mage class.

Using frozen orb generates multiple fingers of frost procs throughout it's duration and he used maybe 7-8 frozen orbs in this video. (low proc chance from something in the new spellslinger tree) Basically infinite fingers of frost procs on that many targets.

I see those images in the top 10 but they shift around and get pushed out the bottom. Depends if it's mythic plus AOE or raid boss ST. I like his build here and I'll try it myself

@@Tallestdwarf That's arcane, which I don't play. My DK is top in our heroic raids but my mage is only on normal. And being in the top 10 while a much lower item level is definitely good. If I wanted to min max I'd just spec arcane but I enjoy Frost, are you trying to say playing Frost is playing incorrectly and doing it wrong because I enjoy it? Nah, if I wanted to push I'd be arcane which is the spec that's slapping in boss fights. Go ahead, tell me again a person playing a class for the fun and enjoyment of it is doing it wrong 😂 you will sound dumb ASF when many people including the one who's channel you are on have said you should play the class and spec you find fun and just play the game with them 😉

Even BM hunter is much harder than I remember it to be. I want classes to be fun, but complex =/ fun in my eyes. I dont want to spam frostbolt for 5 mins either. Theres no middle ground atm...

Meh frost nova is not as great as ice nova for the range/dmg. I do use frost nova but having an extra spell that CC and stronger is better.

@ByJamEmpire depending on your haste you either cast blizzard hard cast or frozen > blizzard >commet>cone of cold >frozen orb >comet > blizzard > shifting power the idea is all aoe spells dont consume winter chill thats why you wanna put shifting power inside cone of cold winter chill then you go to your filler rotation you might not do anything for half a second till you get the last blizzard before shifting power again it all depend on your haste and you have to adjust what you have up and what you dont the main thing is to understand aoe spells like blizzard frozen orb commet and shifting power dont consume winter chill but it also doensnt mean you should do just because winter chill is up and before the whole mobs set up you might wanna use one flurry use the winter chill then burst till the mobs are gathered because shifting power would reduce flurry as well (shifting power doesnt reduce cone of cold keep that in mind) the simple version is what i explained earlier but you will realize they dont always sync up once you understand the mechanics and cool downs you learn how to use them when they dont line up sorry its long hope it helps
