You don't deserve to live in the most free, prosperous generous and yes, GODLY nation in the world. You have lost your way. Your happiness is up to YOU, not up to the government, your neighbors, your boss, even your husband or your kids if you are so blessed to have any one of those things. Talking like you do to a Russian like this is saying that the zombies living there are better off than Free Americans who had the cajones, the intelligence, the will to turn against their oppressor, risk death for their Freedom. Zombies have lost their frontal cortex, and operate only with the primitive part of the brain, struggling to survive till the morning sun. They have lost their aspirations for the future, for their kids, and stumble from moment to moment hungry for only the basics needed to survive. THAT is Russia's people who have been bullied and bludgeoned and starved by successive despots since before the 18th century and where each successive generation learns to exist with less hope, less power and more control and more false promises mixed with real threats from the hand of their little leaders in the Kremlin. This beautiful woman has escaped the reality of 90 percent of Russians, perhaps acquiescing to the conditions for her well being set forth by a criminal regime, ignoring the evil her countrymen have perpetrated on their neighbors and their citizens, ignoring 'politics' in exchange for some facsimile of independence within the prison of Russia. I appreciate her honesty. She seems to be struggling with some malaise or lack of direction for her life. She seems to have some depth of character that I hope will cause her to evaluate what is truly important for life and maybe she will find purpose as an influencer not for skin or hair or nails but AGAINST despotism and criminality that is openly sponsored by her leaders. Her life message should include sorrow, horror and regret for the blowing apart of thousands of lives and homes and hospitals in her peaceful neighbor's country and influence her fellow emigres to link together in a fight freedom against their common enemy in the Kremlin. God help her, bless her, and you and SLAVA UKRAINE!

I was born and raised in California but I left there over 40 years ago for Europe, and although I enjoy visiting America occasionally, you couldn't pay me enough to live there again. That said, most people love America and eventually come to enjoy the American way of life, and I really hope you will too. If all else fails, you always have Russia, but hopefully (one day) a much nicer, less dangerous Russia.

@@deathlarsen7502 well, mixed culture relationship do 2 things they last or the don’t. The United States divorce rate with Russians is 17%. It is on google. I know 10+ Russian/ American marriages that are over 15 years old, some 20. Normal breakups happen in the 5 years. With Russian the gold rule applies, do on to others. In Russia the women out number the women, especially over 30. And Russian women don’t care and don’t want to be like an American woman. Russian women understand who they are and what a woman should do and not do. Smart, skinny, sexy, most have 2 college degrees, and can easily take care of themselves. What they truly want is a man that will listen, help, respect, and doesn’t have our girlfriends. She is not only my wife, she is my best friend, because we have fun together each day. I can shear with you my story. I married my wife, a Russian. She lived in Saint Petersburg. She was 20 years old. She graduated conservatory. She had all her friends her family everything and she ended up coming to America and we got married. It was not easy for her. Also, all she had was me. It took her a while. She did get used to after six months and eventually started a career and in two years we were able to go back to Russia now she flys back every year twice a year. Also she became a citizen and were married 25 years.

What part of the USA did you and your Russian wife live when she first came over? I'm also married to a Russian wife, only she is from Moscow, Russia. She was an international student, graduating from a small college near my hometown in Southern Illinois when we met. We've also been married for 25 years now. And as much as I had hoped she would adapt to living with me here in my small hometown, she also had a very hard time adjusting to life here in Southern Illinois, especially since she was a big city girl, being born and raised in Moscow. We lived together as a family with 2 kids for the first 10 years of our marriage, but she missed Moscow so much, that when she took our two small children to Moscow for a summer visit to see her parents there, we both agreed by that Fall that she should stay there in Moscow and enroll our kids in the public schools there so that our children would become fluent speaking the Russian language and grow up experiencing Russian culture firsthand. Unfortunately, I myself remained living here in the USA, always hoping that my wife and kids would one day return to live with me, and I stupidly stubbornly retain this mindset to this very day, being still married to my Russian wife, and I even routinely chat with her and our now grownup kids on Skype once each week, a routine we've been doing ever since the summer of 2008 when they left me to go live in Moscow. Sadly, I've watched their lifestyle dramatically improve over the years while my lifestyle here in the USA has declined, making me depressed and angry at the world. Like a tragic love story without an ending, my future seems bleak and uncertain. I hope President Trump will return to the White House and "Make America Great Again" but I doubt it. I think America is doomed.

My wife is Russian, She loved the US but living here and not being able to go home during the immigration process was very hard on her. it is for everyone. And is something not everyone can handle. Being away from everything that is familiar and "comfortable" takes a toll on people. As time goes on you will feel better. it is important that you talk to family video chat and share you life with them in a positive way as you are here, or the sense of home sick can really weigh you down. And it can really strain a marriage having the depression, anxiety that comes with it. I wish you the best.

The first thing you might like doing is: go shopping at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. I used to practically live at that place. Next… take a drive down PCH to LagunaBeach and have lunch. Walk around and enjoy the sun a while. Look for an aquarium then head for Laguna Canyon Road and drive towards the 405 freeway. Enjoy the canyon lots of artists live there. Head South to San Diego then cross the boarder into Mexico. Go south to Del Coronado Hotel and stay there in a NICER suite with your partner. After you get there go out onto the beach. They’ll bring your drinks to you on the beach while you watch the sunset. Eat in the dining room there then when you check out head North. Look for the 55 freeway or fastest route to Big Bear Lake. Enjoy the beautiful scenery going up the mountain. Drive carefully. When you get to the lake rent a cabin. Light a fire if it’s cool enough. Meander around. I spent a lot of time there in my teens. Write if you liked your journey… much more to come. You’ll like California soon.

The trick to coastal California weather is to layer several pieces of lightweight clothing. This stops the moist air from getting too close to the skin. Get a hoodie or light jacket, and then wear multiple layers of breathable undergarments underneath. Then remove or add layers as needed throughout the day. A beanie cap under the hoodie is also classic California beach wear. If you want warmer beaches go to Florida! Also, salsa on buckwheat? That's so Southern California! Hilarious. Fashion Island in Newport Beach is a good spot for vlogging if you hate thrift stores.

The weather here in Wisconsin is almost as cold as Russia. I'd rather move to Houston than California despite the hot and humid weather, as California's housing is ridiculously unaffordable. Houston is the largest city with no zoning and low housing regulations which makes housing more affordable. Its also more business friendly which is why many from CA and NY are moving there.

Adjusting to life after leaving Russia is undoubtedly challenging. It's completely normal to experience feelings of depression during this transition. Fortunately, it sounds like you have a supportive husband. Remember, many people have gone through similar experiences, and these feelings will subside over time. Building new connections with both Russian and American friends can provide comfort and a sense of community. The familiarity and comfort of speaking your native tongue with local Russian will also be beneficial. Getting out and about, perhaps by exploring your new surroundings, can also help. While it might take time, finding employment can contribute to a sense of purpose and independence. Don't hesitate to consider returning to Russia for visits to maintain your connection to your homeland. You're not alone in this journey, and better days are ahead

I used to live in Camarillo and went to Ventura Community College for a few classes. Ventura is a rich area so it's mostly safe and nice. The City of Oxnard is not far from Ventura but some parts of Oxnard are dangeous, so, beware. If you are interested in a job the minimum wage in California is now $16 but if you work in fast food it's $20 an hour but you have to be able to work quickly. In the US you have to work at least ten years to get social security when you are 62 years old. You might think you don't need it now but if things don't work out with your fiance and you stay in the US that money would really help.

She was in a freer country, with great access to culture and people were more educated, cultured and have depth and the quality of life is better than in the US. Who told you Russia is not free and more democratic. The biggest single differences is honesty, higher quality of life for the entire population, and far more cultured society in Russia. The media, government and people on the street in the US are not interested in the truth. The rest of the world knows the US by the term Empire of Lies, where truth is not likely to be found. Being superficially friendly when first meeting turns to anger if you say anything the other person does not hold the exact same view. I have spent time in 92 countries and the least friendly if there is a different view or experience is unique to the US. The vast majority in the US are deeply in debt and have a negative net worth, that is not the case in any other country. A person with $1500 a month income, the current median in Russia, lives very well with no debt, most people over 20 owns their home, while most in the US are on 20-30 year debt. Twice the percentage of the population has a degree, and no debt. No medical debt and better medical care access...Free. Unless living remotely no one is hindered from a full cultural and social life without a personal car. Everyone gets along in Russia, which has over 200 separate cultures, ethnicities and all get a long. Crime rates are far lower than the US or Europe, access to healthier food without the chemicals and GMO that has cause the US to be one of the least healthy societies on earth. There is an almost no access to culture. In her native city there were 473 museums 54 concert halls, 237 drama theaters and 600 beautiful parks that like everywhere in the city she was perfectly safe to walk anywhere alone at 3am. The crime rate is so low for the entire country that in 2017 the government closed 73 prisons due to lack of prisoners. The public transportation is clean, safe cheap and frequent and the metro...subway..is excellent so one can go anywhere in a large city much faster than on surface streets for $0.45. Attending a world class opera and have many to choose from every night is about $20-30 but in the US the last time I was in NYC, before covid, my GF wanted to attend an opera we both like and the only theater in the entire USA that night was at the MET so I went to get tickets and the mid-grade seats were $1600 for two. We were not impressed with the staging, acoustics and sets were very modest. It was ok but not great. We tried to get tickets for a Broadway theater and tickets were $197 each and passed on that. That short 10 day trip cost more than all costs of living a much higher quality of life in St Petersburg for a full year. Poor in the US are REALLY poor compared to world norms for quality of life. My GF had never seen homeless and they were everywhere. In once beautiful San Francisco homeless had taken over the city center, crime in the US is off the charts culture and unity are non-existent. Not one newscast or newspaper told the truth about anything . Americans know almost nothing about the world that is true. The cost of health care is criminal and it is middle to below international norms. Hospital induced infections that lead to death is by far the highest in the world and Americans are charged 10-2000 times as much. It is obvious Americans are the least healthy since they are eating foods that is making them fat and unhealthy. I have had a great life in Russia and it is very low in stress and conflict between people. It is a more homes better educated highly cultured society. Go visit and compare to what your government and media has lied about. American society is collapsing and now is one of the very worst countries to raise a child or have a safe low stress life.

Welcome to the New World! In a country as huge and varied as the USA even moving from one coast to the other, from North to South, and from the coasts to the heartland, city to rural areas requires a lot of adjustment. That is one of the great things about the US, if you have the ability to move around you can almost always find your best home but even that takes adjustment. With your skills you can join a photography group, volunteer to teach swimming to underprivileged kids or even join an athletic club with a swim team, cooking groups teaching regional American cuisine, hiking clubs -- all can lead to great trips in the US and topics for your channel.

If you procrastinate, the best way is to do something very simple just to get started. Like open the laptop and look at one of the clips from that Dagestan series, to get in the mood, and then to write up the top five story points that you remember about this trip. Also promise yourself a reward, like taking a walk outside. Another reward is to pleasure yourself with a vibrating massage wand until you reach a noisy climax, although this may create too much anticipatory tension which can be distracting.

She also went through a stage where she didn't like some things, such as you did the food store. She made friends with the wives of my friends. As time moved on for her her life in Russia started to fade away and she started to having fun being here with a man she new loved, respected and cared for her. She watched this video and said oof, I remember those days. They were difficult for me, but as I got more accustomed to my new life here, I knew I had made the right decision coming here with me. Her life is busy now with our grand kids as their babushka and grandma. She's also a US Citizen and has no plans to return to Russia not even for a visit. She's happy, vibrant, much loved by all that knows her and more beautiful that she was the day I first met her. You're going to be ok with a positive attitude moving forward. Well I've been watching your KZbin channel on and off for the last couple years since you started. And I know you moved to United States. And you move to my state California. So let me tell you about my state california, it's a great state but you have to get over some of the people that are kind of stuck up a little bit. I don't think half of the people even know where Russia is truly. But 75% of us are very very nice the other 25% have certain problems they are too into themselves they think everything has to be handed to them or they should be influencers or something like that i don't get into it personally. But the one thing california is really great because we're going to 5-hour. You can go to the ocean and we can the Pacific Ocean swimming or surfing or drive 3 to 5 hours and be in the mountains and if this was still springtime you can go up and ski. I see you went to palm Springs it's okay my parents live in Palm Springs and they have for 40 years it's only a good place personally once it gets below 80°. It's comfortable but right now as I'm writing this it's 114f yuck. Too hot. One thing i will say this because my family used to be in women's clothing for many many years i've seen your videos from Russia and you do have a good look and really good clothes. Possibly become a model. Just be careful that's all but California is a good place to start some type of interesting business and I'm not sure why you're interested in. CoolHand San Pedro California

As a fellow immigrant to the US from a different hated country (Iran) oh, over 40 years ago (right before its disastrous revolution), I wish you all the best. You know yourself best, so I am sure that you'll adjust just fine to CA sun, beach, and fun (I recall how much you Loved St. Pete's sunny days). The neighbors saw us crying and came back. They came back to talk to the neighbors and we were given the weekend. So we made him swear by God. He will take us out into the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war and we do not find food for our day, and my brothers and I live in a difficult life. Our father died, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world who was with us in these harsh circumstances. My younger brothers went out into the street and saw...The neighbors eat and stand at their door in order to give them bread even if they break it. By God, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and expelled them and came back crying. They are dying of hunger. No one has mercy on them and a holiday is returned. I have made a living, and now if one of us helps us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God, I am dying of hunger. My brother, I am an alien to God. Then, I ask you to help me for the sake of God. I ask you, by God, to love goodness and to help me, even if you can, by messaging me on WhatsApp.On this number 00967717354582 and ask for the name of my card and send it and do not be late and may God reward you with all the best, my brothers Sagar, see how they are and help us and save us before they throw us out in the street, you will be lost or we will die of hunger. My family and I ask you, by God, if you are able to help us, do not be late and may God reward you well..`/--~«««~-♡~♡~♡~~•~•~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡~♡♡♡~~~: ~:~¡~¡~¡~;I.i.i.i.i.i-.😢😢😢😢😢

Hola friend great video. 👋🏽👋🏽 We loved our time spent in the USA, though we have never lived there. Not sure I'd pick California to live full time, Florida or Texas yes. Thanks for sharing, cheers from 2 Canadians living in Mexico. ✌🏽💖 PS: My mental health improved greatly after I left Canada.

You had a community in Russia - Go to a church; Tip - Put the omelette with the straight part on the middle of the plate. Ventura is beautiful, but try spending time in West Hollywood which has a large Russian population.

California has the best sunny warm weather all year in the US. Go cruise on highway 1 from SoCal to NoCal for the amazing ocean views and sunset with your husband.

I'm preparing to move my Maria from Moscow to Dallas, TX soon. Definately will prepare to help her get adusted from Moscow because she won't have friends yet other than just me. At least I will be able to introduce her to my Dentist who is Russian and many of the staff are Slavic and speaks Russian and see if she can get involved with many Slavic community so my Maria will not be too homesick.

My wife is Russian and every year she has to do a trip home to refill her energy. Better get Turkish Air Credit Card (it will definite get its use) :) She to misses the populated streets during our walks. She also mises the social life and events(theater and festivals). Very different from American Fairs. You are lucky living in Ventura very lovely small city we visited many times. It does take time, Our best wishes

so nice seeing a slice of your new life in CA, you will get adjusted soon enough. I have been a longtime viewer of yours from Minnesota. I think you might find northern MN slightly like Russia, or as close to Russia as you can get in the US, if you come to visit this winter! At least close temperature-wise! :)
