I love foundations with the option to purchase the pump separately. I've gone through three of the EL Double Wear foundation, and I love that I only had to buy the pump once. I'm spending less and saving more from the landfill.

My fav is the elf halo glow. It has worked for me on my WORST skin days. For a glowy product to blur texture is just incredible to me, &I find that formula to be elegant despite being drugstore.

Have you ever tried the glowy goo from Lisa Eldridge? Elevated Glow, I think it's called. It does for me exactly what you say you're looking for: glowy AND blurring. I use it almost exclusively as a mix-in, but sometimes as an all-over-before-base situation; it improves the finish of *all* of my base products. Bit pricey, but worth it imho. xx

Lauren have you ever considered the Auric glow lust? I absolutely love it. It's the incredible version of the kosas. I found another product that's super similar & that's the tarte shape tape glow wand but there's way less product for the money. I do believe tarte is coming out with the same product but in bigger packaging soon. 👀✨

I will probably never buy CT Hollywood flawless filter because I LOVE the elf halo glow. Such an elegant formula for the drugstore and has worked on my worst skin days.

I have both CT and Elf the only real difference is in the undertone. I'm super pale cool toned so CT looks the best on me. I still love and recommend elf I gave mine to my daughter who isn't nearly as pale and cool.

I am so so so glad you reviewed the Nars foundation. After I watched your review I went out and purchased that foundation for a photoshoot I had this weekend. Oh. My. God. I feel like I can’t get across in text how awful foundation typically looks on my skin. It’s genuinely infuriating, it either looks patchy or catches on my dry spots or super emphasizes my pores or doesn’t look good after the first 2 hours of wear. But after I tried this foundation, I am probably never going to have to actively search for another foundation again. Like it looked like I had foundation on my skin, but it looked so natural and smooth. And still looked good after hours of wear! I loved it, SO MUCH. I will say, I am an oily girl, so I definitely need to powder it throughout the day. But still, it’s amazing. I almost always felt ugly when I was wearing foundation and that is not the case anymore. Thank you so much for the recommendation.😭 Guys seriously if you struggle with foundation, try this out!!!

I’m glad I didn’t end up grabbing any of those rose Inc shadow duos. I do like their blushes and brow gel. For the brow gel I think it’s specifically the color and the fact that it doesn’t have fibers in it. I’d only repurchase at 20+% off. I’ve had the T28 liners on my wishlist for a while. I love an extra blushy moment like you did here!

Have you tried the inn beauty face glaze? It's my favorite glow booster product because I can use it on my texured/acne prone skin and it doesn't emphasize anything. I do have very dry skin tho so keep that in mind.

Thanks for this. I bought a blush from Nars that is too dark. Maybe this summer. I got a rare beauty highlighter that I love! And the Sephora brand lipsticks are a nice everyday formula that lasts. They are creamy but not too shiny.

I love the NARS Light Reflecting foundation, but I don't love the price. I do really want to try the NARS bronzer but I feel like I'll need to go in store to try the shades and make sure it's not too warm leaning. My only bronzer is in the Hourglass Ghost palette and it's a pretty neutral bronzer which looks good on me. The product I have that is amazing that I don't reach for is the PMG Labs concealer, but that's just because I got it on an amazing sale and I'm afraid it'll run out too soon

Foundation and concealer don't want to stick to my nose. I have tried gripping primers, using eye primer, not moisturizing it, I don't understand why. I have dry skin except on my nose and nothing wants to stay on my nose. I'm so red too so like I need coverage on it.

Tula has a really great primer called Brighten Up, it’s like a soft gel that smoothes out as soon as the skin warms it up. It’s hydrating & great for combo skin, and for my tricky nose as well!! & I’m an oily girl but it’s my holy grail

I have a hot take that NO ONE will agree with: I recently finally tried the Orange Blossom shade of the Kaja Bento box shimmers....and I sent it back. I didn't think they were special in color nor in shininess. To me they were barely more than a satin, let alone a shimmer let alone the best shimmers ever. I tried with a finger, with a brush, with a wet brush, all three shades. It's also not my first bento box; I had gotten the Ginger shade before and i sent that one back too. I am always so confused when i try a universally loved product and don't get it.

Your putting to much of the Tarte primer on you only put a tiny bit and dab it in gently not rub it don't buff it dab small small amounts try that and see how it works for you that way.
