My friend, watching you ramble about anything makes me smile. Such a great reprieve from life being annoying as hell. Also- I really improved the look of my pores by using an aha toner and lactic acid serum during the day and a strong retinol at night. I have sensitive skin but also like 5,000,000 layers of it?? I am a big proponent of a lot of exfoliation (for myself- I knows it’s not a universal solution). Maybe adding more into your routine would help? Love to you buddy!

5 million layers. Ha ha I hear you though. Skin care is everything. Finding what works for you is trial and error and sometimes patience. I have dry skin so stayed away from salicylic acid but tried the Paula’s Choice BHA lotion and omg that stuff is amazing. Smoothed my textured immediately. I use tretinion and ahas as well

100% even some of my original fave KZbinrs lately just come off SOOO over the top when they talk. They’re so loud and I’m like… you’re mic’d 🎙️🤔 she comes off like she’s talking//rambling to a friend and I could watch her all day. ALSO agree, I use the Paula’s choice BHA toner. Lactic acid and a strong retinol- both sunday Riley. My pores appear so much smaller and I have the korres smoothing moisturizer. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! I wanna add back niacinamide though. My typically beyond oily skin is completely changed for the better.

I second lactic acid for pores! I know it’s not BHA, but it really smooths things out. I have rosacea and use TO 5% every morning. It’s gentle enough to not sting, but I still see results. And it’s hydrating!

oh my my, the color for your brows is so perfect! and your face before the blush, was so perfect, natural, the color is so good on you, i dont’t know if is the brush, but it looked so easy to put the bronzer, and normally, i HATE bronzers, but on you, it was magic !!!!

You hit the nail on the head at the end of your video. When you're applying a pore filling primer and a shimmering product, switch it up to how you did it. Do your glowing product, and then your pore filling primer, then your foundation. That way you're not pulling up the pore filling primer with the glowing product. I'm pretty sure that was what happened because that pore filling primer is fantastic. Calliray is really good too!

The Nars foundation is my absolute favorite of 2022 and even still. I always pit it against whatever is a new release and the Nars wins hands down. I freaking love it.

Mine, too! And I’ve finally found my perfect shade! Vallauris (medium cool). I’ve always thought I was neutral because cool shades always looked orange (& I NEVER thought I could be warm), but this cool shade is perfect. I have probably 50 different foundations and I have to force myself to use anything else but this one lol

The brows look great! Possibly it's the black mascara giving that "bleached brow" effect because of the contrast. Brown mascara could look nice, but honestly, this is a vibe. It turned out lovely. I might try a cool, greyish blue version for my brown eyes ❤

I never tried the Tarte blurring primer but always wanted to after hearing Tati rave about it all these years, however never wanted to pay the $39 price tag for it. Instead I tried the L’Oréal magic perfecting primer and I LOVE that one so much and wonder if it’s a dupe. Regardless wanted to throw out a more affordable primer if anyone doesn’t want to pay the Tarte price. It does an excellent job and blurring and just create a smooth beautiful base for your foundation to go on and a little goes a really long way. Loved this video Lauren!

I am 54 and very thin brows. This looks perfect for me. I liked the perks now. I wanted that Nest perfume. They have better perks ordering on line.

The INN Beauty Face Glaze primer has great skincare and no glitter. I prefer it because I’m combo-oily and it doesn’t make my pores look larger. Cait loves it, that’s why I tried it. Just a heads up for a really lovely product.

I’m obsessed with the Face Glaze! It somehow smooths out my skin and makes me look poreless while also giving me the most gorgeous natural glow. I feel comfortable wearing it on its own, under makeup/mixed with foundation, and on top as a natural highlight. It’s such a wonderful product!

I was using the Tatcha primer on my nose for pores but it started breaking me out so now I'm using the Tart one that you're using right now and I really like it, so far no breakout. I wish I knew an awesome primer 2 make pores appear smaller.

I think the Kosas glow product made your skin look a little textured. Your skin always looks wonderful so try the Tarte primer without using the Kosas product. Your eyes and blush are so flattering.

That Kosas primer was rough with that shimmer. You put the tarte primer first and your pores went away, and then you put that Kosas primer and puff!!..pores are back again but this time with stadium lights on it, Lol. I would get rid of that Kosas primer soooo fast. Wouldn’t be surprised the Nars foundation would do much better without it. In the end it was a beautiful look though :)

You might want to try Grown Alchemist anti pollution primer; it is the best primer ive tried for smoothing texture, wow it looks soooo good and i have wrinkles, big pores, & acne pits from my youth. Only thing i dont like is that it dries my skin out, but i have very dehydrated skin, so it might be perfect 4 u! And I am So excited that balm stains are back!!! I still have one left from the 2010s lol, I know it's so old but it's in great shape & is the perfect wearable warm burgundy....

Putting the glittery primer right over top the smoothing one definitely counteracts it. I’d try the tarte primer again and keep an additional primer away from the pore/center face area- at least to truly see how it works. 😊

I'm glad they seem to have reformulated the Tower 28 lip balm. The one I got in a Sephora Favorites kit was the consistency of vaseline melting out of the tube. Too messy to use. I might try again.

I have combo/oily skin and when I use the Nars foundation, I have to use a hydrating primer with a pore filling primer in the t-zone and then only use a small amount of the foundation because if I try to use more than 2-ish pumps, it looks heavy on me. I hope that helps!

I use the Tarte putty primer for my pores (t-zone) as well and I really like how it works, press it in don't brush it around with your fingers. It does take a bit of practice. I don't use another primer over the Tarte just on the outside of my face, I know high maintenance. I am a big fan of buying mini's to see if you actually like a product and the satisfaction of using up the whole thing.

MICRO-NEEDLING and using TRETINOIN, have made my very visible pores and oily skin disappear. I'm telling you if you want to do the most to combat large pores microneedling is the way to go. It is seriously transformative. My only regret is that i didn't start earlier.

That NARS foundation is one of my favorites-I’m the shade Yukon which is close to Mont Blanc but on the cooler side. In my opinion, NARS complexion products (foundation, concealer, primer, etc) have the best undertones for my skin and they wear so well. The Light Reflecting foundation can be worn a bit lighter or built up nicely like you did, so it’s very flexible. I think the Kosas product really messed things up, so I hope it wears better for you without the Kosas. Also, I love your brows-I think you’re probably used to them being a bit darker or whatever, but that product today was really nice and looks so natural!

Maryam uses BM mineral veil to help with pores and texture and it really works....just pressed in on a dense brush. I'm shocked at how well it works

I love the tarte poreless primer on my nose and around my nose/cheek. Don’t find it works great on my forehead or anywhere else but where those big pores are it’s awesome! And the Nars light reflecting has been a go to for me lately! I just got the Stila heavens hue highlight in kitten and it’s quite similar to the Pat McGrath 2021 holiday highlight! But I don’t think anything compares to that to be honest. My crown embossment is almost completely gone now

I have been on the hunt to find the perfect primer to fill in my pores because it drives me crazy. I’ve spent sooo much money on the search and I finally found the one for me and it’s an old product that costs $10. It’s the NYX Pore Filler. It’s a weird product, it almost spits out in clumps because of the texture (if it was in a jar probably wouldn’t do that) but I really really press it into problem areas like pores, fine lines and texture and my face has never looked so smooth and it works with all my foundations and doesn’t make me oily. I let it sit like 1-2 minutes before I put on my foundation. Even though I’m always tempted to buy new primers, I don’t think I will because it works that well, is accessible and inexpensive.

Sometimes I smooth it out with my fingers first. I think maybe if it wasn’t in squeeze packaging it wouldn’t come out like that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have the Tower 28 liners and haven’t noticed any smell or taste. I love the stability of those liners. I have the Rose eyeshadow duo. It’s pretty easy and looks lovely on my 68 year old lids. I’ve been checking out the Tower 28 bronzers as well as Merit bronzers and can’t make up my mind.

I do the same thing with that tarte primer just on my cheeks every time I do my makeup and the mini has latest me over a year. Try using a velour puff to apply it, that’s my favorite.

I remember getting a tester of the Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser, squeezing out a decent sized blob onto my hand and after applying it fairly liberally to my face, I legit looked metallic 🤣 Still, after I worked out that I didn't need so much, I ended up buying the full-size version, haha. Good job I love a glowy face! Also, would you do a look that involved pink brows? :-)
