1 Month Of Owning the eLite

Welcome Back Tubes! I just wanted to put together a quick loose video review on the ePropulsion eLite after owning it for about a month. I don't go into great detail, but just some of the things I like and dislike. My overall impression is "This thing is great", for us. I'm not sure what the pulsating is at low RPM (wattage), but I'm assuming it has something to do with the reostat not liking low the voltage/watt usage. I'm not an electrical wizzard so I have no idea whats going on. If you know or have any ideas, let me know. ‪@EpropulsionHk‬
This is not a paid product plug. This is actually my first working trolling motor I've owned and used. I guess I didn't know what to expect. I had no expectations other than it move the dinghy forward and backwards.
If you're a Looper (The Great American Loop) or on a journey similar to a Looper, I think this would be a great set up.
I'll do another review a couple months in to see if it's holding up.

Agreed about the magnet, but its so quite and its comparable to the 2.3 hp honda ive replaced it with

Same here, with the throttle not having a return when you let it go I see it as a problem

Did yours also only go about 10 watt when you ran it out of water ? Or did you have to do something to get more power ?

Only 10. I think there’s a sensor in there to limit the power when it’s out of water.

@@ramirosalazar5073 I was a little worried too at first. Of course in typical fashion I read through the manual after I used it and it does say not to run it out of water.

@@two08 It will sense the lack of resistance and thus not allow itself over a certain wattage to protect itself from overheating.

@@ThomasShue if I wanted to go fast I would LS swap it. It’s an equivalent to a 1hp motor, what were you expecting?
