I’ve said it before. And I’ll say it again. Thank you sooooo much for sharing these amazing places with “me”! Not only have you built from the ground up your lively hood. You get (and want) to share it with us. The excitement in your voices shows this is more than a “job” to you. I hope you continue to inspire people to get outside, to follow your dreams, to explore the unknown and to never give up. For many, many years to come.

You asked "who else has driven on the artic ocean?" answer: I have. I spent 9 months 1977 - 1978 winter and got to drive up to a couple of the drilling rigs on the artic ice. I had to follow a 100K lb oil feild float truck and could hear the ice cracking from 300 yards ahead of me where the truck was at. Just FYI: we never parked there either!! LOL. I could see the ice sagging as the truck lumbered along at 20 mph. I was happy that I was only in a 3/4-ton Ford pick-up and kept my distance behind him gladly. But you are sooo right, it is a thrill to see and especially to hear the ice cracking just ahead of you, not to mention to see the ice sagging and then returning to normal just yards ahead - wow, I still can feel the thrill just thinking of it all these years later. I really enjoyed following you on that trip through the Yukon and artic territories. I was at a camp (where we could park there) on the Alaskan Pipeline 40 miles south of Prudhoe Bay Ak. I drove what we used to call the "Haul Road" a dozen times from Fairplay to Prudhoe Bay, the only really scary part was Atigan pass. Now days, this road is called the "Dalton Highway" It has a grave marker every mile of the road and more over the Atigan pass. Keep up the awesome videos. I would like to hear less adult type topics and more about the road and rigs if it suits you. Keep up the good work and thanks for the beeping out the bad words.

I'm glad to see you enjoying my old home town Anchorage.. I drove on those icy roads every winter in front wheel drive Chevy cavalier and never had a single problem in the 12 years that I lived there. And anything more extreme, then I would drive my aunt's 1982 bronco. Alaska is one of the most beautiful places to live on earth.

I rolled the Alcan in 1999 in February in a Nissan pathfinder. We had good tires and used 4x4 alot. Now I off-road I'd be scared to do that without my winch, recovery boards, shovel, 75 pound tool bag and my duffel bag full of recovery gear. Either way driving skills are way more important that all the recovery gear in the world. That highway has areas that you go off your done.

I remember when going to Niagara Falls , at the border , guys asks “ where are yous going” I told him Niagara Falls because that was our 1st stop. Then he repeats himself. I looked at him and repeated myself. He tells me to pull over, went through the van, 8 people in the van, looking for ever they look for. The ride back week later, I enter the lane that states commercial vehicles and VANS. I entered that lane, “ they asked “ why was I in that lane “ I looked at him and said “ lane says Vans” . I was in A van . Lol they are not the most pleasant people to talk too

Absolutely Gorgeous Scenery. Amazing that Kevin is listening to Brittney's caution and not sending it anyway. Long ago, I use to go backpacking and Mountain House was my favorite brand of Freeze-dried food. The original version of Chili-Mac was very good but should not be eaten when in closed quarters. Later, they must have changed the recipe because they began to advertise it as "No Gas Chili". Least favorite was Turkey Tetrazzini(suspect the bag had a leak and spoiled as I got food poisoning. Next day, hoofed it 30 miles into town and was laid up for a few days-so a bit negatively biased about Turkey Tet). Was fun watching Kevin drifting(aka using Trail Turn Assist). Need to take the Bronco to an ice lake(with others) and have fun. Amazing Adventure, and thanks for sharing.

Growing up in New England (MA) winters were cold enough that we drove vehicles on the frozen lakes and screwed around. It was a great way to learn how to drive with nothing around you to hit. We have not had a cold enough winter for that in at least 15 years here. You have to go north more to find thick enough ice.

Fun fact...I lived and worked in Banff Alberta back in the late '90s..spectacular views is an understatement. Kinda miss it...but eh out here in the BC coast so there's mountains daily! Also, Banff was Canada's first national park full stop it's number 1 here for a reason, it's the best out there. But there's a cluster of national parks in that area, Banff, Jasper on the Alberta side and Glacier, Yoho, Kootenay on the BC side.

Best/most popular tire up there is the duratrac. Can’t beat them short of a full ice tire but then you’ll need a summer tire too. My philosophy has always been “the only old trucker is a slow trucker” and after 25 years truck driving I’m still alive so can’t be all wrong 😂

OK, 1st time I'm commenting after watching every episode since you bought your 1st jeep. I live in Alberta and enjoy the Banff, Jasper trips every time, so glad you guys got to experience it. GUYS! Every time you cross the border into Canada you are entering a foreign country, this isn't the States or the 53rd State, it's a foreign Country, so, YEAH! of course you're gonna be scrutinized at the border, that's the same kind of experience for Canadians entering the States when we go to visit a foreign country, don't be so hard on our border patrol. And, of course your border patrols are nice to you, you're AMERICANS going back home, just like we get welcomed home by our border patrol.

We’re just going off of our personal experiences. 😊 Of the 13 countries we’ve visited, Canada definitely has usually been the most difficult to enter into as foreigners. We understand they’re just doing their jobs, they just seem to be much more unapproachable & scary/serious than any other border agents we’ve dealt with. 😅

Hello you two… I was soooo happy to see you two traveled through Alberta!! Very happy to hear what you guys thought of it… BUT….. it looks like you guys missed out on some amazing thing as you cut thru! Jasper is one of the best mountain towns with fewer tourists. One must see there would be Maligne Canyon. A must see in summer and winter. In the winter you can walk up the river! On the ice! Thru the canyons that we’re carved by the water over millions of years! In the summer time you can see the massive rushing water that carved it out. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake both the most serene places in ALBERTA! In fact the Moraine lake is the most photographed mountain range in the world. It’s even on our money. The hiway 1a from lake Louise to Banff is one of the most fun twisty and serene roads in Alberta. Banff has so many things to see from the Fairmont Springs mountain castle to an amazing hot spring and gondola to the top of a mountain. To standing on Main Street looking at the massive mountains. Over looking the town. The best food and breweries in the mountains. Canmore has some amazing sights as well as being recently in the Last of Us tv show. I sincerely invite you guys back twice, summer and winter because you can not miss both seasons seeing all of these places. It would be my honour to give you guys the personal VIP tour through my home, ALBERTA! Also you should check out the app Gypsy Guide. It’s an app I tell everyone about driving through. It also covers America too. Give you such Kool thing to learn about where your driving through. Wish I could say it was my app…. Cause it’s amazing! But my tour would be way better! Lol Just Saying. So proud to see you guys travelling through Alberta! Love your show. Your all so much fun. Cheers from Alberta!
