If they worked in this messed up experiment, they may have been forced to attend “the big day” despite worries. Natasha died leading up to it and someone (Natasha or someone else) wanted to shoot their boss just to stop it. Having a colleague die in a classified experiment would leave me wanting to stay home at least. It must’ve been either dangerous, continued over her dead body, or some secret weapon shit. Like the real life British Marconi experiments that had nearly the entire research team “suicided” back in the 80s.

I did that exact job for five years and it really be like this, except for the glitches in the matrix. Only thing missing in this game is report taking and calling mobile patrol coworkers to investigate loiterers or calling police or EMTs. Since everyone is SO CONCERNED with Leo that nobody seems to have noticed this, allow me to point something out: At 5:15 "Someone called Natasha died last week" At 6:29, you can see in the ledger that an employee named Natasha Singh (who I presume is the Natasha who died, since there's only one Natasha in there) had the license plate RE8 032 At 11:12, a car arrives, the passenger inside says "£$#@ H@1p M3 @>/£^%" (which I can only assume translates to "help me"), and the phone begins ringing. At 11:15, you can clearly see the license plate says RE8 032 At 11:22 Mark answers the phone, the caller says "help me," and Mark replies "I can only help so many people at once, I am only one security guard." Then at 11:28, we see what we can safely assume was the deceased Natasha's car has vanished. Mark basically told the ghost in the phone "I can't help you right now, I'm helping you at the moment."

Actually mark, part of a security guard's duty is to let the right people in, keep the wrong out, and in the event of lock down check to make sure it's ok to let them go or not. When there is a lock down in a facility it is normally to make sure no one leaves with stuff that's not supposed to leave the location.

A little bit of a gripe I have with some games: When animating cars, and you don't want to spend any time, just place the origin between the rear wheels. You don't need to be an animator, you don't need to do anything fancy, but when you do your "follow path" animation, the car will then pivot around the rear wheels. It will look heaps better. Of course, it can be artistic choice to pivot around the center, so take this with a grain of salt. You know who also pivoted around the center? Every animated car in cyberpunk 2077. Yup.

So the buildings you could see are more for the low level staff of Nova Nexus, the higher level staff who do all the big research and experiments are in an underground base (this is why when the explosion happens you never see fire or smoke from the buildings as it was underground). The experiment goes totally wrong and that is when the calls start happening. The thing that happens awakes a sort of ghostly demon monster from another plane and that is why the base is shut down and 'Kill everything' protocol is activated so nothing gets out. In regards to the endings. With Ending 1, The Car that lands on the broken down car was chucked by the demon monster thing from the car park. So basically - it got out! Ending 2 is the phones calling the families of the dead. You're the phone near the screen. The big thing that comes out of the base is something that basically creates a massive creator in that part of the world. Hope that helps!”

SPOILER: The second ending requires slightly different things to do, but instead of a car falling on you, a nuclear bomb is instead activated from within the company. Or, perhaps it's a black hole. It really didn't LOOK like a nuke... Regardless, afterward, you are transported to a void, where lights activate to show many phones around you, ringing. Most likely it's because your actions for picking up the phone have drastic changes on what happens(?) Only explanation I can come up with for this game, is that the company was doing shady experiments, and the woman over the phone was the one who had died due to them, and she was a ghost contacting you.
