Talking about difficulty before the 1 minute mark: The time I knew I was ready for Expert was I had just got to My Name is Jonas in GH3 on Hard, was dozing off because that song on Hard is baby mode, and accidentally FC'd. Restarted the game on Expert and never went back. Then I got to the Slash guitar battle and about died.

Look on the Clone Hero subreddit. Acai made a post about it and it should still be on the first page. It's an adapter by Raphnet.

Just use any bluetooth adapter and software called "GlovePie" with a Wii guitar controller script. It's all I use while I play and stream and it works perfectly.

GutWrench95 still has bad input lag compared to a wired solution. You're probably over compensating with your calibration settings.

That's true, wired will always be better. And I typically set my video delay to 60ms, which I figured was because my display was hooked up via HDMI cable (60Hz refresh). But I suppose that could just also help with any input lag.

At the moment I am challenging myself to beat GHX's Dragonforce Discography playlist on GH3, not Clone Hero, in order. This is the song that I am currently stuck on. There's so much shit in that solo in such a short amount of time. If I could just nail the one star path at 6:15 and the one after it's a surefire pass, but my god do I suck at that blue/orange trill. Trills that start as hammer-ons and not pull-offs are my mortal enemy. And for the record, yes, I've passed it on Clone Hero

2:34 As someone that only plays/streams with a Wii Guitar Hero controller I can confirm that there really isn't any noticeable lag at all. All you need is a bluetooth adapter/receiver for your PC and software called GlovePie with a Wii Guitar script (oh, and batteries for your Wiimote. LOTS of batteries)

After learning how to play hard I think the best way to start playing the game is with your four fingers R,Y,B,O so that when you jump to hard you just have to use your pinky instead of having to learn to move your hand/finger(s).

the new wii adapter Acai is using is pretty good that's at best 2ms lag via the usb cable. And it no longer needs a wiimote.

Slowing it down to 0.25 its the same mistake as one of the COE chokes - you hit the red early, and hit the orange as soon as the red window opens up. That's an oof

Not all songs are equal. I remember back in GH 3, I could beat nearly all songs on expert, except of course TTFAF, although I managed to get decently far in it. But I have never once managed to get past the beginning of expert level Raining Blood.
