What is not fast according to you? It does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Not eyeball tearing, but no slouch. And about 180 miles topspeed. What did you expect double that? In my book that is still a fast car!

When he was fooling around with the convertible latch it reminded me of years ago when he was doing Turo and the renter didn’t lock the hatch right and the piece flew off. I think that I remember that it was a corvette.

Did the same thing in my C5. Big whoosh and it kind of stunned me and I didn't even realize the top was gone. Look in the rear-view mirror and see the top helicoptering in the air - on a busy freeway during rush hour no less. Miracle it didn't decapitate someone or even hit another car, Landed cleanly right up against the median divider. Pulled over to try and recover it but traffic was so intense there was no chance to get it back. Found a glass one on Craigslist for a few hundred bucks couple days later.
