@Hemosima More or less. There are some minor changes but on the whole it remaings very faithful to the book. There is a fair amount of backstory about the major houses and characters left out, but that's only natural from a book of that size. If you're wondering whether to read the first book or not I would say it's worth it. It gives you a better basis for the second book.

Gosh, Jason Momoa would be so PERFECT for playing the role of Wrath from J.R. Wards "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" book series. If they ever make a movies or series out of it, that would be soooo amazing. Wanna see Jason as Wrath and Emilie as Beth (although not exactly fitting Beths character) but she´s still an awesome chick and I´d love to see those two as a couple in another movie/series. PERFECT! And True Blood isn't as shit as the backlash suggests, it actually picked up in the most recent season. It pales in comparison compared to GoT/Wire/Deadwood etc, but it's still miles ahead of the rest of the Starz/CW shit.

I watch Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men and Rome , three shows that have in-depth dialogue and multiple (but just as interesting) side stories...only Game of Thrones has dragons. But I'm a fangirl , so maybe you can't trust my opinion. lol
