They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

Although I get was he is saying with having different maps I do believe that changed the outcomes by so much. Due to Haven being so big it makes getting solo fights so much easier. Which is why if we really want to compare ranks maps truly matter by a long shot.

@@bigEcheese101Maybe not even the same map, honestly just maps with 2 sites was pretty consistent across the board. The main thing I noticed was haven has 3 sites, which means the defence is naturally more spread out - Maybe not in higher ranked games, but especially in bronze and below (as far as I remember) there's a mentality of having to be on-site at the start of a defense round, and you can see that in play here. So if you have a map with 3 sites, that's going to spread out the defence more than 2 sites - and considering the solo doesn't have to worry about that factor, it means the bronzes were at a higher disadvantage whenever haven came up, even after the long-angle factor

Also worth to mention, the bronze team should change entirely with every rank. The first match the bronze team plays will be tougher for them because they are getting used to play together and getting used to play against only one player, as they play more and more they gain more advantage against a diamond compared to the gold, silver and iron. And when they play against the radiant they have more strats to hold sites, or for the attack. That’s why we see so much difference between how many rounds each rank accomplished, also the fact some maps are easier for solo vs 5, but you already mentioned it

Since you begin with low ranks and go higher ranks each match having the same team throughout all matches actually helps to balance the challenge. 5 bronzes should be inexperienced when fighting against an Iron, but well trained when fighting against a radiant. Otherwise it just gets really one-sided on higher ranks.

The bronze players started to comm a bit more into each game and made sure to work as a team. They did really well against someone with guns / full util + a higher rank, you definitely made them adapt very quickly and even gave them practice with their sheriffs too. This is gonna help them sm in the long run

this video really helped to understand the concept of valorant cause i always wondered like some of the bronze have insane aim yet they dont rank up and i failed to understand why. in this gameplay i saw that most of the higher rank had faster reaction time and better game sense like they were in a position in which they didnt require 1 vs 1 in general.

My valorant journey start from iron, now I am a gold player honestly, based on this video I conclude that plat vs gold has quite difference in game mechanics.. in gameplay I don't really know and more rank get more logical on the decision, unfortunately this is 5v1 and bronze player doesn't really think which means illogical.. To be honest, ranks doesn’t always deter aim. It’s all about game sense and have a good team. As a bronze player, I always go on death match for fun and I play like one comp everyday. Sure I hit like the most sickest shots in death match, but in comp, I always get the saddest team and would likely not rank up at all. It also matter with how much time they play the game

Reyna tip: Don’t put reyna eyes is the middle of their screens because it’s easier to shoot you off of it, so put them on the floor or very high so they have to move their crosshair very low or very high instead of not needing to move it at all!
