(1 of ?) the best tools won’t make you the best picker

This is the start of a new series I’m calling “skill over tools”. I bought a cheap lock pick set, with the help of ‪@BrettSucks‬ and others opinions, and plan to use it to pick through the belts as best I can. I want to show that having the best tools or most expensive tools isn’t needed to develop and grow as a picker. So this is for all the new pickers that bought a set without knowing what to do or what was “Best” on the market.
IMPORTANT: do not pick a lock that you do not own or have the expressed permission of the owner to pick! Do not pick a lock that you use and rely on to function as it is intended. Check the legality of lock picking and locksport in your area and or region before starting your journey.
