I was going to say the exact same thing, man. You can see why the guys love to play for him. And the cool thing is.. I really do think he's gonna continue to improve as a HC. He already calls defense really well. And I think with the improved QB play and improved team overall.. the Bears have a chance to be a solid team and I think many will come around on Flus. There are so many coaches in this league that actually aren't that great at anything and they just get propped up by their QB. Sure you can knock him on some situational decisions last season but that's literally something you can only improve on by going through it first and failing. If the guy continues to fail in similar situations, then it will be a problem. But I'm glad they didn't bring in another HC to start over with another scheme. I think it would have been a massive mistake. You are already drafting a rookie QB and have new coaches on offense. It will be such a benefit to have continuity on the other side of the ball to bring the rookie QB along and not put too much pressure on him.

I love to hear Coach Hightower. He's always genuine honest, and interesting. I think you're on to something with the coordinator guests. You should try to get as many non-traditional guests as you can. A lot more interesting than hearing another reboot of the same stories 5xs until the next breaking news comes. Happy because it allows more players to get paid people forget just how devastating it was for there to be regular kickoff returns/ turnovers on special teams before they neutered the play having a good returner/coverage team was a game changer.
