problem is Poles says no one’s safe when not being as they call it keeping healthy, Nate Davis who got a big contract last year are talking about letting him go if he can’t stay healthy this yr, they said the same with Teven, he’s an all pro, but can’t stay healthy when asked about a contract, Flus said depends if he can stay healthy this yr, sounds like they aren’t keeping anyone around if getting injured to much, I love Teven….

Got to play in our games to be a captain…. we all want Tev to be the guy but if it’s another year where he’s off the field more then on we got to upgrade. Kyle long was a stud couldn’t stay healthy unfortunately. Hoping he breaks out this season!

Tevin played 731 snaps which ranked 52nd, committed 4 penalties which ranked 28th, and allowed 3 sacks which ranked tied for 30th. None of those numbers stand out to me. He's his stay healthy to really take that next step in my opinion!!

To a man, Poles and Flus have brought in superb men - they are mature, hungry, and team oriented while authentically believing they individually are the best or striving to be best at their position. Anyone listening to these players walks away with confidence that when they put it all together, they will have a chance to win every game they play. You also have to give Flus credit for building a culture of excellence particularly on defense and this year I expect with the talent on offense, we will see the same on offense. Go Bears!

Sign him now and try and get a fair price because if he plays 16-17 games at his best level he will want top market price. I agree he’s had injuries but if at this moment nothing is career threatening or lingering then extend him on a contract that is front loaded and minimizes risk, and try and extend Allen for a year or two. Gotta start extending some of your stars to front loaded contracts now you got the rookie contract the clock has started.

Oh I’m sorry like Keenan Allen is a unknown commodity. Chargers didn’t trade him because he’s still not a very good player and extending vets happens all the time; I’m not talking 4-5 years I’m talking 3 at max and preferably that would be with this one rolled into it. And that was only one player. You probably didn’t wanna extend Sweat last year after the trade; granted different but I want a offense to gel and no matter what kool aid your drinking it’s gonna take more then a year to really be in the Super Bowl hunt so wouldn’t be nice to go into next year rolling. Oh I guess that’s just crazy thinking: guess I don’t know ball!

Our Media in chicago needs to step up, they are so bad at asking questions. They ask some cringy questions or the most leading obvious questions that everyone already knows what the response will be. You have Teven Jenkins there, and don’t ask a single question about the Center position or how he feels the OL is set up this year and who’s looking good and how’s their confidence level as an OL. I get you ask the questions about Caleb but stop harping on the defense and ask some questions about the next biggest question mark on this team, the OL.
