It's crazy how somebody can be enjoying playing his music in front of a crowd, and in less than two months, take the decission of dissappear from everything.

It's more complex that standing in front of people playing music you wrote richey from what I've read hated touring he once said it was like having a job he was a very sick young guy cutting Him on stage banging his head against a brick wall having meat cleaver taken off him as he wanted too cut off his fingers so he could never play guitar again on top of his eating disorders depressing self harming

It's really sad, In a recent interview with the manics they said they always wanted richey to choose whatever he wanted to do, just write or just being at the studio, but he always had that resonsability with the Manic of be part of the band, I think that same thing was what makes richey get tired of everything

+IgnacioCC maybe he found religion when he was in the priory and wanted too start a new life for himself part of me wants too believe he's happy and content now and the other part of me says he took his own life soon or on the day his car was found and left clues for people too always think about what if ?its 21 nearly and no clues too that day his car was found Edwards was a very intelligent man who was reading books and telling friends about the perfect disappearance taking £200 pounds out of his account it was reported for a desk which cost £2,800 that's a very expensive desk back in 95 he could be writing books under a false name a hippie who's had a total breakdown and had no recollection of his past life I could sit here for hours and say he's doing this but I honestly think we will never understand the truth about richey Edwards

+sid snot I totally agree, we will never know the true about richey, but at the same time part of the mistery in richey's persona is what makes him so iconic, that is what elevate him into the cult status. We remenber richey as the intellince sensitive guy and the talented writer he was and the enigmatic personality he brought on stage, wherever he is I hope he's doin' well
