I love Peter because he is passionate good and bad, but loves Jesus in such a human and messed up way yet with all his heart a very human man that most of us can relate to I love when Jesus asks him, are you going to leave too and Peter says Lord where would we go? Where would we go indeed? When you have Jesus there is no where else you would want to go, He is our Everything❤❤❤

When I was about 7 years old I found a picture card. That picture was of a man, on a cross, above the earth. I didn't know who He was but knew He was special. I sobbed my heart out not understanding why He had to die. Over the years I flitted in and out of following Him. I follow my Saviour, love my Heavenly Father and know the Holy Spirit as my Friend. Hearing now, how God chose me is completely overwhelming. I may be able to have it really sink in when I stop crying. A heart hurt full of love for my God, my Jesus, my Holy Spirit

Exactly me when I saw a booklet in my mom's room but I was around 12. Finally knew who He was just 3 years ago. All I remember is going in her room and seeing it on her headboard shelf then getting upset. The only reason I went in there..

Bless you Pastor, you explained this magnificently! I used to struggle with the "opposing ideas" of God choosing us vs. our choosing Him, and the Holy Spirit helped me to come to exactly the message you're bringing here...that God doesn't expect us to be able to explain it, He simply expects us to believe it. Bless you, Pastor. 😊

Hello BIBLE Revealer - Paul; Thank you for Sharing GOD'S Wonderful WORD!! Psalm 138 - "....And Praise THY Name For THY Loving Kindness And For THY Truth - For THOU HAST MAGNIFIED THY WORD ABOVE ALL THY NAME!!" One Day (It's A Journey Isn't It) I suddenly Realised How GOD'S Truth IS Finished - IS A " Closed Book", And think That Scripture is One place in The Bible That Proves GOD'S Truth Is NOT Open - ended!! Remember, we are chosen “in Him” Ephesians 1:4 Also , Calvinist and Armenians started in the same camp. Pastor Paul is right to say, don’t park in either of these camps. However, election,predestination and called are most often not used when speaking of salvation. It is many times to a service. In Romans 8:29-30 it is not about salvation of lost people, it is about the guaranteed future of saved people. Eph 1:4, 1:14
@mr.truffles92942 жыл бұрын
Amen. I was struggling with predestination and a fixed future.
@adelissahunsley Жыл бұрын
I don't see any contradiction in election and free will. God knew who would recieve his son ahead of time and therefore called those people. There aren't people who have accepted Christ but are going to hell because they aren't elected and there aren't lost people who are getting in anyway because they are elected. Saved people are elected and those who die in their sins aren't. Isn't it that simple? Also, I don't believe God created people for Hell who didn't have a chance. Everyone has to answer the question of who is Jesus to you? Everyone is accountable for his or her answer.
@CalvaryChapelOntario Жыл бұрын
That's exactly what Pastor Paul teaches. Thanks for your note, Adelissa.
@joeghannam415010 ай бұрын
That’s exactly right. The elected are the church, true believers, those who put Christ first. We don’t always do perfectly, but it’s a strive of immolation. I believe those are God’s elected. Those who chose to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
@smalltownglobalproductions9 ай бұрын
Correct. The elect just refers to a collection of people who have accepted Christ and God knew who this would be from the beginning. There is no predestination. We are elected of God when we obey the gospel.
@Over-for-now7 ай бұрын
@@CalvaryChapelOntario Don't you agree that our so called "free will" is totally corrupt. We cannot and we will not come to HIM on our own free will. So when people say that God knew who would believe ahead of time is incorrect. He CHOSE --- He receives all the GLORY

:( What happened to the other video that included the communion? I watched Pastor Paul's live sermon the other day. But now that video has been deleted. I really wanted to be able to pull up his sermons that include the communion. I'm disabled and can't physically go to church, but I do watch Pastor Paul's Sunday sermons as well as his Bible studies in other books that he's taught on. He's an amazing teacher! But please include the communion in your videos that you end up keeping for those of us who are home-bound.
@CalvaryChapelOntario2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your input. We usually leave the 'live' video up for about 24 hours and then replace it with the video of the teaching itself. So, you'll have about 24 hours each Sunday and Wednesday to enjoy the full service. Thank you.

God knows things that we can not comprehend. But the same would apply to a woman murdered with a baby in her belly and also when a woman has a miscarriage. Or all the other circumstances of death before living life of being a Christian that is visible to us. Thank goodness that the Lord knows what to do in all things.
@adelissahunsley Жыл бұрын
@@donnahall3902 I believe the bible teaches life happens at conception and therefore I think they are saved as they are below the age of accountability, the same as a child or toddler would be. I don't know when that age of accountability is and I was always taught it is different for everyone. I believe my severely mentally retarded adult child is not accountable. She says she believes Jesus died for her but I also think she is just parroting me. I have to trust God has her and just model Christianity for her.
