I went to an izakaya that has been banned from filming for over 30 years!
The reason why Japanese Kitchen succeeded in interviewing us this time is because we went to Iyashiya for about 3 years when the business changed from a ramen shop to an izakaya about 20 years ago, so we filmed it while also sharing stories from that time. After negotiating for an interview, I was given the OK with some conditions.
The condition is that the shop owner cannot show his face. The shop owner said it was embarrassing. lol
