I don't know if you've already read the texts but some of those you are closing are actually missions that don't appear in the mission log, and the reward is vague. Securing the sea lanes: to stop rebel pirate ships from spawning. The details are in the description of any ports of the order factions I think. Ind: they want you to take a city from the chaos dwarfs, Gates of Zharr. An economy boost is the reward I guess. Two others i've seen are: Take a specific city in northern Tilea Miragliano near Skavenblight, get steamtanks. A dude in estalia wants you to conquer a city from the dark elves, clar karond if I remember correctly.

The most fun part of this mod compared to Call of Warhammer vanilla, is not only the map size, but also the acces you have to special units in the game. For example, now you can train Master Engineers with Repeater Handguns as an Empire faction. That's something which made it really intresting. :)

And there was a Summer fair ground in turn 2/3. Thats why the Fisherman's village was first 168, but then 114. Global trade income is then increased in all cities, which in time, if you can capture and hold more settlements, can give you 40k or more income. The sad part is that its only for 1 turn, and when you get further into your campaign, the script comes less up.

Hey there Legend about the "no banners" thing. I think you can fix it by going into the config file for the mod and turning "show banners" from "false" to "true" or something like that, I know that I did that for the original COW game.

Hey legend don t know if you will read this comment but if you want to add vanilla music and remove mod music its pretty simple just go to the place the game is installed go to med 2 mods/mod name you are using/data/sounds/music delete every music there or copy it to another place when you want to play with that music now go to med 2/data/sounds/ and copy the two music files into the previous directory now why are there only 2 files you might ask ? thats because vanilla med 2 had compressed sound files into two files which is sometimes annoying as you have to use third party program if you want to extract the sound files to be heard outside the game the game won t crash or anything its literally easiest thing to do for med 2 and overall old games is changing sound files

Yeah they actually changed a lot of the resources around the map into those ruins and structures you'll see on it. Some of them can make you a ton with a merchant and unlike vanilla TW the other factions merchants aren't competitive for shit xD

I know you don't like advice, you probably already know this, and this is and old video so you probably won't see it but each time you put a different spy in a settlement it reruns the odds of the gates being open. So you siege it with one spy at 40 percent and it's not open then you can lift the siege put another spy in and it redoes the odds of them both opening the gates. It's kinda cheaty but it is a very effective way of besieging settlements.

No that's incorrect. The algorithm works a little differently. Each settlement has a marker number assigned to it many turns in advance which cannot be changed by quick saving and loading. This is a number ranging from 1-100. If for example the number is 36 that is the minimum required % to open the gate. If you get enough spies in there and it goes over 36% the gates are open. If the number is 100 then you need 100% chance of opening the gate in order to get past it. The number changes every turn but it is set way in advance so just loading the previous turn and redoing it will not change the number. You can manipulate the chance of spies getting into a city, but you cannot manipulate that hidden value to open the gates.

The mod isn't actually set in The End Times, rather the lead up to what would become either Storm of Chaos, End Times, or whatever happens between the player and AI. You're changing the history, not locked into a scripted storyline.

Storm of Chaos was the same basic event, with Archaon gathering the forces of Chaos and moving down to take over The Empire, and Grimgor on a Waaagh! to do pretty much the same, but things went differently. Storm of Chaos ended with Grimgor headbutting Archaon and then everyone walking home, while End Times ended with the whole world being destroyed. Both have a lot of parts that are really stupid and other parts that are really badass. When you play BoTET, you get to forge your own 3rd take on the events.

here is a tip to get lots of money.....send diplomats to the chaos factions and ask for peace but demand anywhere between 40000-80000 and they will give you the money and repeat this everytime you are at war with them 😀

I can understand why you don't like recording EB all that much, when you don't get the views/support you use to get. But in the same time it's also a shame, because you're the first professional player at it and for veterans of ye olde days, like me, who crave for these kinds of playthroughs to happen and to get these mods more popular it's just sad to see that there's no interest in it, especially when you give all that effort even if you don't like the music in EB all that much (which is a subjective thing, I know).
