For TF can i also put my stick to the top left? cuz its easier for me to put my stick there. Will defo try that one since ive been struggling with getting good cuts which prevents me getting 1:49
@MitchMKW19 күн бұрын
@@luca2869 I wouldn’t recommend that at all, the point of the bottom left input is to achieve two things: a) a TF input but not too much air and not too wide ( = tight and low air) b) a slight taildive A top left input may not give this, so instead i’d just snap hard left. However it is preferred to snap bottom left. Best of luck with your 1:49 attempts!

@@MitchMKW Thanks for explaining that man. I will defo try that when i get some motivation to grind that again since my pb is almost 2 years old lol

What mod are you using to get save states? I saw a bunch of extra buttons when you paused during the MH section and it would be a big help to practice all this on original hardware, thanks!
@MitchMKW11 күн бұрын
@@FatGoomba The mod is called MKW-SP, and it’s really helpful for practicing on console instead of on an emulator 👍

Wow this is really nice! Could I ask how you do the save states here? I remember seeing something like this in SP before but it messes up the cycles and momentum
@MitchMKW22 күн бұрын
Glad it was helpful! There isn't currently a patch of MKW-SP that doesn't bug with momentum during savestates, you just gotta put up with it unfortunately
@josephshaysj856621 күн бұрын
@@MitchMKW Thanks for the quick reply and thanks again for this content. All of this stuff is so elusive since there is not info on it, so resources like this truly are invaluable to beginners! Good to know about the SP momentum being a constant thing. I notice that in the build you're using, when you use a save state it also resets the cycles (ie on moonview highway). I think on my current build, when I use a save state, the cycles dont go back to where they are supposed to, so practicing can be hard on certain tracks

for ddr, do up trick lose time? do they bounce more compared to down trucks?
@MitchMKWАй бұрын
@noahcheng1895 For the most part, up tricks and down tricks are the same. Some players on d-pad controllers down trick because it personally helps them prevent accidental side tricks, whilst other players like myself do down tricks for comfort
@bailey7657Ай бұрын
You can sidetrick or u can up or down trick. Sometimes I sidetrick depending on my angle and if I think im gonna bounce to prevent it

im seeing luke fox alperen kenny dev and marvin snap hard left on tf input, so it can’t be that much worse right?
@MitchMKWАй бұрын
@noahcheng1895 It’s much slower because it throws you wide. From what I’ve seen, these players snap from hard right to left briefly, then roll the stick down to either bottom left or taildive (I’d imagine this achieves the same effect)
