This is one of the reasons I’m so glad I watch or listen to you after I read my nightly scriptures. Not only do you bring clarity to things I may have not otherwise understood, but I completely somehow missed that David’s brothers and parents came to him at the cave of Adullam. I remember becoming captain over men that came to him and him asking King of Moab to take care of his parents, but I completely missed his family coming to him. Thank you for sharing your sermons and for trying your best to get audio or video out for each chapter of the Bible.

66 books divided into 3 sets or cycles of 22 books. 1Samuel is aligned with Obadiah which prophesies against Jacob's brother and what he did during Jacob's, or in this case David's distress as Doeg the Edomite was present and killed the priests. Also 2Thessalonians is the 9th epistle which relates to Saul being a type of the antichrist. He was exalting himself above all. And as 2Thessalonians mentions the restrainer, 1Samuel showed no restraint from Eli to his sons which caused the Philistines to invade. And Saul, later on showed to lack the restraint as the Spirit of God departed from him and dwelt with David. Saul had lost all control to the extent that he went to take counsel from a medium.
