From Nigeria, been born again since 1999. I have never heard the Bible taught like this ever. This is the first time I'm hearing anything like this: the Bible taught in FULL context. I feel so blessed and I have recommended Skip's teaching to all around me. Skip's humility as a Servant of God is so strange to see; we don't have that prevalent in Africa; most Pastors here are a little beyond Celebrities. God Bless you Sir; what a model for the body of Christ. My family and I are truly blessed.

Thanks for your comprehensive deep teaching. It was a joy to visit for this teaching. You’re definitely a great orator also. I’m amazed at how well you know the geography and also how you tie up different things in different passages to remind us how they reappear in history.

I like the reference to Milan. It is the Duomo di Milano. Saying it is a cathedral hardly does it Justice. It is a magnificent building in terms of architecture. A Gothic masterpiece. Construction started in 1386. There are some reports that there are 3 inscriptions spanning separate archways. In Latin. Look at it on google images for a better picture. Over one is carved roses and the inscription “all that which pleases is but for a moment”. Over another is a sculpted cross with the words “all that troubles is but for a moment”. Underneath the central entrance to the main aisle is “only that which is important is the eternal.” This reference may not be entirely accurate- but the points reported remain quite timeless. .

Back in those days of being near a lot of unsaved, i became like one of them and John Lennon's Imagine pulled me back up into seeking my dream again, not knowing if I will see it coming true.

I think that saying Saul could have lived a better life is saying that Judas could have not betrayed Jesus and he wouldn't be crucified. I think Saul had his fate sealed when he was born cause god already knew what Saul would do and he made it that way for his purpose for cultivating David. Of course I don't disagree with god, cause everything he does is perfect

From what I understand, it's all because of the cowardice of Samuel. God told him to anoint the new king - David. But instead of telling everyone that David is the new king, he was scared, and lied, saying it was just a regular offering ritual. So David thought Saul was still king, even though he himself was the new legitimate king. This is why David would not kill Saul. He thought Saul was still God's anointed king. And no doubt, Samuel's lie was caused by somebody else's sin around him or throughout history before him. This just goes back to your sin affecting everyone in ways you can't possibly imagine.

Every story is about first Adam seen second Adam not seen on man like Saul and Paul same man, or Saul a king of first Adam and not seen the second in David King by second Adam same man. You read blindly.

What are you talking about? He explained it clearly that Saul is living according to the flesh, while David was a spiritual person, living according to God's spirit.
