I'm from Figueira da Foz (Naval's hometown) and i can tell you that they are born again under a different name, "Naval 1893" and they play in regional low tier football. We hope that one day we'll be back in the first tier

Fun fact: this version does not have the soundtrack that the other versions have. It only has a few generic songs instead of the licensed music that other versions of FIFA 10 (and also every other FIFA on the Wii) have. FIFA 11 does have a soundtrack on the Wii, however.

So, the "You drew against a team that doesn't exist" joke is because you drew against UD Leiria. The team does exist and are now in the 2nd Division. However, we say that the location that the club is from, Leiria, doesn't exist due to an Euro Truck Simulator 2 update with a lot of places AROUND Leiria but not Leiria itself. Since then, we all say that Leiria doesn't exist.

Naval Lore for anyone interested: After several years in the second division, Naval first promoted to the first level in 2005, after finishing in second position behind Paços de Ferreira. In its first season in the top flight, the club finished in 13th position, finally moving up to 12th after the resolutions on the "Mateus Affair", which involved Gil Vicente F.C. and C.F. Os Belenenses. In the following three years, Naval ranked between places 11-13, also reaching the Taça de Portugal (Portuguese Cup) quarter-finals twice. In 2009-10, former Sporting CP, FC Porto and Portugal national team great Augusto Inácio led the team to its best season ever, an eight-place finish in the league and the semi-finals of the domestic cup, a 1-3 aggregate loss against Chaves. Naval returned to division two at the end of the 2010-11 season. But highlights included a 2-1 home win against S.L. Benfica and a 3-3 draw at Sporting CP. In April 2013, the club were deducted 12 points by order of FIFA, due to outstanding debts to two teams in Brazil; so another relegation followed. Due to legal solutions, the clube was forced to change its name to Associação Naval 1893. The club last played in the Honor Division (Coimbra Football Association).

I used to play this game when I was younger and I am telling you didn’t take advantage of the momentum meter enough. With the fact the keepers are bad and you have ballotelli you could have been shooting from 30+ yards and it would have went in nearly every time

To people who dont know i am From Coimbra Naval 1° de maio is somehow not extinct They were in 2017 but they still exist but now whit a name Naval 1893 the logo is the same but the club is in districts competition they are in the elite of Coimbra the division who gets you to play in the nationals Naval 1893 and like União 1919 and Academica OAF are a big problem in Coimbra. The reason is because they dont exist Naval 1893 was Naval 1° de Maio União 1919 was União de Coimbra Academica OAF was Academica de Coimbra All of the 3 giants of Coimbra went extinct due to debts. But all of them made it on purpose and created the clubs we have nowadays as a way to dont have debts So the 3 biggest Clubs from Coimbra shouldnt exist but they exist because of corrupcy Extinct a club to not have debts and still be that club but whit diferent name is very bad
