And when Lampard scored I was shocked. But when the referee denied the goal I felt ashamed and I couldnt be that happy about winning that match. Btw: The only other team I support in World Cups is actuall the English team. So it was a day of very mixed feelings

I witnessed the game. I was directly behind the goal in the german curve. It took us until the halftime whistle to realize that it was no goal. There was no slowmotion on the stadium-screens and it took me weeks to realize that this was a scandalous decision... In the end it maybe was Kharma for Wembley...? The more tech, the more disappointment. Poland was just robbed of a better outcome against Portugal this Saturday. It was 1-2, Portugal in the lead, and the Polish attacker was fouled in the Portugal box. Despite all VAR, the penalty was not awarded and while everyone was confused, Portugal counter-attacked and there was an unfortunate own goal from Bednarek. But this counter attack should have never been allowed. VAR did not help. How blind were those refs in the studio? No point complaining. It is just it. Tech is not a solution, just shifts the problem elsewhere.
