You said it! Majority of those M-G-M Cartoons are now currently owned by Warner Bros. Discovery via Turner Entertainment Co., except for Willie Whopper and Flip the Frog are owned by Ub Iwerks' estates.

Sort of Turner via it's entertainment company still has the copyright to the MGM material Warner does has distribution rights. Plus the Iwerks shorts (Flip the Frog abd Willie Whopper) are still in their control.

i think mgm has the funniest cartoons funnier then looney tunes

Especially once Tex Avery arrived at MGM. Plus once Tom and Jerry took off.
@naiseboto40174 ай бұрын
By 1935, when Avery was hired, the Schlesinger studio had only two full-time, regular film directors: Friz Freleng and Jack King. Avery became the third regular director. Christy, actually they're almost the same gags, but wackier than the 1935 take of Avery.

I think Looney Tunes are the funniest, but MGM is definitely up there, especially Tex Avery’s stuff. Makes sense considering that he was at Warner before going to MGM.
