@@RekdStar 100% still play normally. +5all grants you faster cast and more spell damage while you hold it, but without the burst damage from reflect you are unlikely to win vs barbs, and without the ranged damage from dark bolt you are unlikely to win vs Ranger/Wiz/Sorc. Keep the stacks as long as you can but don't be afraid to use em to secure a kill

@zeplore8491 I watched all except gear part. Buyin gear in this game is the most boring part of it since ttk is super low and you lose it all in few seconds. Really dislike it. There is no theory crafting, just statstick stacking.

Hi Zeplore, what are your thoughts on this build with the new buffs to soul collector? Do you think it is possible to run a version of the build that doesn't utilize any dark magic spells, in order to maintain the +5 all attributes benefit?

@@bug_eater123 I'd say run the build as is zero change. The minute you worry about not using dark bolt or dark reflection to save the +5all you're probably going to die for it. The +5all will help a lot vs ranger/sorc/wiz matchups that are ranged, it will help cast flamewalk faster before a melee engages, ECT. We're just getting the +5all for free before we tank a melee hit or cast dark bolt that's all

How does true magic damage work on flamewalk? Are you adding 9 damage each tic or distributed over the whole time of the spell? Same question for CoP

This is how i understand it as the Wiki states it, I could be 100% wrong. Flamewalk: 5 damage per second, 100% scaling, ticks every 0.2s. If i have the mana sphere out (magical damage 5 on this item), 75% magic power, and +10 true magic damage... Damage = [(Damage of Spell + Magical Damage of item equipped) X Magical Power Bonus X Scaling] + Addi/True Magic SO, Damage = (5+5) = 10 X (1.75) = 17.5 + 10 True = 27.5 damage per second, since it ticks every 0.2s, divide by 5 that is 5.5 damage per every 0.2s (5.5 magical damage every tick, which occurs every 0.2s).

Im suprised u go dark malice instead of shadow touch, it can be a 12hp difference in fight if u land 3 hits that +6hp for u and -6 for them

Shadow Touch gives +2hp gain and +2true magic damage on your melee, but fights will never last past 2 swings, so that is only +4hp and +4 damage. If you build enough Will, +10% from Malice gives you +4 Will. That is 4% magic damage to your Flamewalk, Curse of pain, Dark reflection, Blow of corruption, Dark bolts, ect. Not to mention the magic resistance and buff duration gained from 4 extra Will. Malice is better than Shadow Touch for this kind of build IMO.

why use the champ armor instead of the occultist tunic? same stats and you trade barely 2% pdr and a tiny bit of magic resistance for 7 whole move speed

@@novabaghdasarian2348 totally can be, 100% depends on what module you fight them in though, and if you can land a 5-stack Soul Collector Dark Bolt on them. At 9:10 I kill a geared Ranger with just 1 curse and 1 bolt. You have to play it smarter than melee matchups.

I tried this build and ran into true dmg survival bow rangers 5 games in a row and became broke. Got kitted and poked to death. I like the build but couldn't stand my ground against true damage survival bow rangers.
