Great team win. I have to say this may have been our most complete game of the season. It’s almost like We could score wherever on the court and whenever we wanted. And our defense was stifling as Usual. Really happy with this win. Appreciate you as always Robbie.🐐

If y’all worried about Brea taking shots don’t worry she’ll be ready, but her going downhill is the best since she’s surrounded by scorers. Ladies can’t force fed Boston all the time because that leads to turnovers which kills any team. Sax contributed as expected with LA and KC out which was the thing going into both road wins. Dawn has the deepest bench and they will be at full strength with KC and LA returning back

Great game by the ladies. Catlin Clark is an outstanding player however Boston is the POY on the # 1 team especially when Catlin’s team is going to have a tough final three games against MD, Michigan and Indiana just to hold on to 25th place in the country. Commentators should stop pushing a narrative comparing the two players saying that Boston is surrounded by so much talent when UConn, TN and Baylor had POY with McDonald All-Americans around them during their era.

According to this article... www.on3.com/teams/south-carolina-gamecocks/news/south-carolina-wbb-scholarship-chart/ ...none of the players that came in Zia's class (Boston, etc) are eligible for the WNBA until after they graduate. I believe you have to be 22 years old to go before you use up your college eligibility. Also, according to that same article, because of Covid, the 2020-2021 season won't count against eligibility so all who will be seniors next year are eligible for a sixth, "super senior" season, which means we could have all of those players for 2 more years should they not enter the draft. I assume that also means that Henderson, who is senior this this season could return for one more season, next year, if she wanted to.

Can anyone explain why the whistle and turnover was called at the 3:38 mark in the first quarter? I've never seen that ref gesture

They called the Georgia player for an "over and back". Meaning, the ball, while in a players possession, crossed over the mid-court line into the front court and then back over the mid-court line (into the back-court) which is illegal unless the opposing team is the one who knocked it back over the line. In this case it appeared she caught the ball in the front court and came back over the line into the back court. The ref's gesture was the signal for that.
