Laksa originates from Malaysia. They have like 13-14 different laksa's over there. The Laksa you are used to in Australia is what is known as Malacca Nyonya Laksa. So look for that Laksa if you want the same taste ✌️😊

For prices like that the "value rating" pushes the overall rating.

SO RIGHT. Everything was so affordable and backs it up with it being tasty too. We've got a few more Malaysia videos to come! 😉

The coconuty one is curry laksa. In fact each state in Malaysia has its own laksa😅

@@AndyandAnnabella The one Andy had was the Asam Laksa aka Penang Laksa , The prawn coconut broth laksa is called Laksa lemak or Curry Laksa, this one is harder to find but a more common version is Mee Kari /Curry Mee (with chicken broth) but otherwise very similar to curry laksa/laksa lemak . In the east coast they got Laksam white coconut milk with mackrel , (savory not tangy like Penang Laksa. Johor Laksa with spaghetti or Sarawak Laksa is a mix of all the above both of which i haven't tried.
