A similar thing happened to me. Started hanging around with drug users and literally 6 days ago i hit rock bottom. Even thought I never used drugs I was hanging around with the wrong types of people. Someone who I thought always had my back started a small rumour and the person it was against came with a friend of his and beat me up and hospitalised me. It was from then on I realised I need to change who I hang around with. These 6 days haven’t been easy. But I’m getting there💯

Damn grant I been an addict for several years I been clean for going on a year and I feel great I've changed my whole life from my behaviors to my way of thinking and feel like a brand new person I want to achieve so much out of life but I want to help people along the way and I been thinking about trying to start a business, write a book and start being a speaker for addicts in recovery. I would like to start some kind of business that has to do with recovery support but I don't know where to start. I have the drive, ambition and intelligence but I've never ventured into the business world so I have no idea where to even begin but I have a life time of experience in addiction and traumitizing life events so I feel like a pro at this. I've always wondered what's my purpose in life and always had that feeling that I should be doing so much more with my life because I can just feel it and I know I'm better than this. So I feel like my life experiences have brought me to this point for a reason and I think I've found my calling if there's any helpful advice you can give me I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m 23 with a 3 1/2 year old daughter, separated from the mother, hand tattoos and a dog I can hardly take care of. But she’s a shar pei and I had to have her. luckily everyone never been addicted to drugs or alcohol and I hope to keep it that way. I’m 100% jobless and no income. I can’t take it anymore.
