Great Class, similar to what my own Guru, (a student of Svamiji Dayanandaji, now herself, teaching Vedanta and Sanskrit, for 45 years). There were certain differences, but if I were to comment on each of them, it’d be several comments, interrupting the flow of the class. As for the Tattvabodhah, I’m currently in the last 3 verses of it, (with her, Glóriaji). since Jan. 2020, Ive also been studying the Bhagavadgita with her (currently on chapter 13).In the next comment I’ll make a comment regarding Academic vs Vedantic (Advaita), sources (at least, of the Bhagavadgita), and how it affected my view of it. Wow, those days, in my school times, the morning prayer ends with sholka. Miss those friends 😢

Have you come across a Jivanmukt in your life or do you believe we will always need to keep our senses under check actively ? (Asking this in the light of Krishna's statement - Knowledge and remembarance are both from me).

This question will be answered end of the course when we discuss what a jivanmukta (liberated while living) is. Keeping senses under control is a way of life that should be taught in schools, in my opinion. Thus keeping them under control is an unspoken requirement in any field on endeavor.

Is it a "huge" tree of knowledge outside your windows? 😀

My morning consists of making tea, sipping, while looking at that tree, contemplating. :)
