Hello, first of all thank you for all the video material on using SMART PLS. It has been truly helpful for my analysis. At the moment I am struggling with the concept of HOC. In my model my DV is Brand Experience, which has 4 sub dimensions. So far I have not treated it as a HOC in my model, because I was not familiar with the approach. I just treated it as a latent variable with 12 indicators. I am already done with the whole analysis and happy with the results. But now I am wondering if the results would heavily change if I define Brand Experience as a HOC and then run the analysis again. I would really appreciate your answer. Thank you so much in advance!

Sir have been trying to build a model where we have a second-order factor that moderates relationships between three IVs and a DV. I am fine with first-order moderators but really wondering how the interaction would work if the moderator itself is a second-order factor. Will it be okay if I collapse the lower level factors? Can you suggest any material that could help us here? pl guide

Even if the Mod is HOC. Doesn't matter, it will be added at first stage and reliability and validity assessed. Once that is done, it will be added as a HOC based on LVS at the second stage. Finally, used as moderating varibale.
