Thing about DLo when he starts playing good is that it just shows WHAT lakers needed, not WHO they needed. They need an outside threat, someone who will create and make shots while others are busy standing in the paint or driving. Ky was an outstanding finisher but him AND love both could've scored 3s and long 2s if needed. Wade wasnt a threat so they askd Bosh to be one. Here they had AD shooting 3s in 2020, LeBron was also on fire from deep that season, KCP, Danny Green. And they still had paint dominance in AD, Howard and McGee, and elite playmaking with Rondo, Caruso and LeBron. Now Lakers have none of what makes a good contender. They have no inside presence, no 3pt threat, no playmaking outside of LeBron and Reaves (who was responsible for some offensive scoring load but his role changed since last year, and he also played a lot of defense just like Bron and AD). And coaching stuff make no impact on players outside of getting them mad
