I found out I like to scalp pre market and market open till 11, and then go to the gym and do other things. I have little patience with a screen being a tree climber by trade. I like to be in and out. I Need to hone my abilities, skills, and experience over the next 6 months to a year, and then finally add size, I think I can become full time in 1-2 years from now. Bracket orders have really helped me.

28:00 this feels way too personal man. Like kick in da ballz for real. If only I sticked to my plan... XD I even think about it and second later I'm in position because of FOMO. dafuq... or even better " I allow myself max. 3 positions today " - 9 positions later I lose my account. These types of mistakes... I swear it kills me for way too long.. I'm talking solid years now... ffs

*Hahaha, I love your style Jared cause it's so realistic ans funny at the same time.* *I have a question when it comes to scalping. I use a 20/50/200 SMMA. Do you recommend placing the stop loss just below the last low candle or lower, say below the 50 SMMA if the price is currently bouncing off 20 SMMA? I'm asking because if it's too tight, it stops out and if it's too wide, it doesn't bring me 2R. Thanks*

my question is how do you trade a 20 percent winner vs a 80 percent winner. im trying to trade premarket. would you draw a line at each 10% increase. say it makes it to 20 percent draw a line if it dips sell out, if it goes up to 30 percent and draw the line. thanks so much, i didnt give up for 2 weeks and want this after doing fing retail lol

Revenge trading, loading up size on the wrong set ups ....my errors that keep showing up, but looking at trading view its those consistent singles that I need to concentrate on and leave the screen and do something after 11:00 am est very hard to leave and only trade that one good set up.

My problem is that I don’t follow my trading plan and every time I don’t the market goes exactly as my trading plan. I cut my losses too late and take profit way too early. Things I am working on. And no, I did not blew up my account I take my stop losses.

In regard to athletic skills, there is very little transferring a skill from one type of athletic skill to another. There is a slight correlation between skills but generally very little. Correlation studies have shown the previous is true. Skills are classified in transferring skills as generality and specificity. It can be proven by doing correlation studies. Some athletes are very skillful learning new skills as are some traders. It still remains skills are highly specific to any activity.

Such a big point with “focus on the process not just the outcome”. I left my last job when my ex-boss said “the only thing that matters are results” when he ran his team into the ground. Then months later he decides to do what I recommended on his process…after I left. Process is so important and I don’t get why so many people don’t realize this.

Compliments for the new year Jared...This video is appropriate for new year, traders should learn to make money consistently before they can bark out cause is useless to make money four [4] days and lose it all on the fifth day including your own money...I think this video can change trader's approach to the market...

Needed this, had a major loss today because I got emotional about the trade. Then, stepped back analyzed and caught a 6:1 RR trade. Not a coincidence this came up on my youtube homepage. I have to keep it simple, not over-leverage, have wider stop losses, and I will quit my job this year. and support my family through trading. I feel it in my heart.

Started my year off with one trade a day. One for a 10% winner, and one for a 31% winner. IT'S ON IN 2024! Jared is correct. Learn how you trade, be honest with your behavioral patterns, and trade accordingly. I used to be a day trader, and now I hold my stocks for a day or two. Doing much better.

Man this is pure gold. I kept averaging into short term puts on a certain semiconductor over this past 2 weeks and I've obliterated my very hard earned gains from the past month. Clearly, I don't know who I am as a trader. I couldn't cut it, I couldn't give up on the play out of pride and false certainty and in return it destroyed my account. If it were a larger account I would have never taken those risks, but due to the size of the account I psychologically wanted bigger numbers. Self control, objective perception, and emotional detachment seem to be points of focus I need to work on and I wouldn't have dug into the meat and potatoes of todays losses if it weren't for this great video! Seems my "Why" isn't concrete enough to deter the tendencies of my degeneracy, yet.

Do you know someone good that we can talk to? It's almost like KZbin does not like us anymore or perhaps people don't have the attention to listen to a full hour long lecture and majority look for lifestyle, fun type videos or shorter reels to scroll through. But we will keep serving those that are dedicated and have time to actually learn and not just get entertained.
