Doing ATR manually. Cannot for my life find the indicator. Anyone help me out with this? Anyone know where I can find the indicator for ATR?

Jared I still remember when I first started daytrading during Covid and watching your videos. Watching this is kinda throw back and glad to u still being you. To this day I only trade first hour of the day. I’m only trading last hour of the day if I want to lose money. Or an earnings I know will spike up just to catch that scalp. I started off with a 100k account and luckily came out great that year. I then followed it up by yes GME. I caught the GME squeeze the day leading up to it and live posted it on my fb. I took half of that and did my DD on AMC and had enough conviction to hold 7000 shares at $5. I Duno if you know Umar the options trader but I was in his group n they witness it. I ended up selling most in the 60s and the last of it during after hours when it hit 70. So two years that u can say a fluke. That first year I found swing trading was where it’s at. I now trade options looking for UOAs and also had a great year. Last year was the year I was red to end the year. -80k and was gonna just call it a year to reset. Ended the year finding a swing set up I love so i took it and ended with -60k. Last year I started out with a bang with 25k scalping. The next 2-3 months I was doing things i knew I shouldn’t do and held on wayyyy to long when I told myself I won’t. It became a mental block so I cut myself off last year at -27k. Scalping did give me a big ego because it started out well. That and just life happens so I just needed to reset. I am proud of those loses because I cut myself off and walked away with a lot more. Most of which I went heavy on Nvidia on their last split and it in on the avg of $110. Apple build me enough wealth to start that big but now I can live off just Apple dividends alone with abbv. Nvdia was what I tell my friends the 10x play where all u literally need to do is hit buy, set it and forget it. Oh and besides that I finally became a home owner in 2021 (for the wifey) and graduated with a masters in business at UsC. I recently didn’t need the masters as friends would say but i tell them i would be a dumbass for not doing it. They pay me 3500 housing allowance a month and pay the school differently my tuition fees. Again didn’t need it but loved it because the Trojan network is just that great 😊. Well just wanted to say because of your videos back then on reading more than one timeframe and prep before the market really helped with the process. Your “3 bar plays” video was awesome. I til this day don’t think I ever traded or caught a 3 bar set up the right way. I’m sure I won In a trade doing it without knowing it. lol For someone with your experience I don’t know how u never gave options a try. For the people out there that thinks options is easy, ya it is. It’s really easy to make 25k within 20 mins and it’s almost easier to lost that and more holding it overnight. If you trade options learn it the right way by using it as a hedge first then speculation trades. I finally had my reset and back to UOA options trading and acts more like swing trading. No more reckless weeklies unless I scslp here n there to boredom. Always rooting for ya Jared because your video help it start it off for me. That and also I have been In one of your free trade rooms n all I’m going to say is u have a kind heart to be answering some of those questions as nice as possible. Hahahaha

Hi Jared, my name's is Randy. If I can steal you to do lunch sometime it would be an honor, I live in anthem / tramonto area, been following you for some time. I would love to meet you and pick your brain for a little bit . I know you're busy, so no worries. Thanks!

I am stunned at the ingratitude of many of the comments for a FREE lesson from a professional. To all of you nit-picking over Jared's delivery...let's see you do better. Let's see the millions of dollars you have in your account.

You keep saying: "wide bar" but they all seem to have the same width, but some have more volume in them. Iy also looks like you need about $100,000 to buy 1000 shares of most of these stocks.

This one had some tough examples to follow. I'll have to watch the chart examples again. Consolidates, then large bottoming tail, then blasts up T. 24:00. (I love this strategy). Have a splendid weekend Jared. Rookie question: what is or how much is a half lot?
@sirhamalot86512 күн бұрын
A "lot" is your R factor or risk from your stop loss. If you risk $100 per trade, a half lot would be $50 for you.

The dude ain't lying. If you have some skin in the game, but not TOO much... there will come a time when you know when to pull the trigger. Going too big too quick distorts the fragile conscious- subconscious communication happening while you watch candles.

One of the reasons I can't watch your videos is I've come to feel that you are more interested in viewing length of your videos over actually teaching education. Cut out all the unnecessary fodder and get to the education!

i have been watching jared for years. im self emplyed now for a couple of months and let me tell you: trading while having a job is 1 thing. trading as a job is another. its a completly different game mentally. i couldnt sleep for 2 months. the pressure, the stress, everything spikes up and i have been trading for 6 years. felt like i just started again but its that mental safety of having a paycheck that disappears and puts u in panic mode. i got used to it now and it got better but my respects to everyone who does that transition and keeps it up. being self employed is the most stressful thing i have experienced in my life and its 24/7....
