Thank you for a really helpful video. It’s worth noting that the new seal that comes from the Polish eBay seller is much more difficult to fit than the OEM one as it’s thicker. It should last much longer than the OEM seal because of this but be prepared for a very frustrating job!

@@sinclair0123456789 So far I have just bought a used replacement brake servo and tried to fit the Polish aftermarket seal. The seal was damaged in the process so has been thrown away, but thankfully the original seal that came with the servo is in good condition so I am refitting that. Then I will get a mechanic to swap over the units. Also I am going to buy a pipe with an internal diameter of 40mm to help make sure the seal is seated correctly.

Help i got a volvo s60 2002 when i brake while driving and i let go i hear a wissle sound when i press my brake it dissapears.. when i let go it is doing Again the same sound what could it be?...

yh mine was a squeak/wbistle. the tur ed i to hissing. hopefully try and get a polyurethane seal replacement. instead of paying a grand for oem full servo. or risk gettimg aftermarket ate. 👍

Hissing mainly. Brakes still worked OK though. Sometimes the hissing was when foot was off the pedal and when you pressed the pedal it stopped. Sometimes it was when you pressed the pedal. Hope you get your problem sorted 👍
