1 Van, 2 Days, 9 Kids, 1,110 Miles ║ Large Family Vlog

In this video, we're making a two day drive from our home in Moorcroft, Wyoming, to the Preterist Pilgrim Weekend in Ardmore, Oklahoma. We took a different route than last year. We didn't stop as much, but it still took us 14 hours the first day and 7 hours the second day. The hotel we stayed at in Belleville, KS didn't have the correct room that we reserved. It was 1:00 in the morning so we ended up just taking a double bed room for all 11 of us. Miss Hannah was a bit of a nightmare having to sleep (or rather NOT sleeping) in the bed with Tom and I. She spent much of the night pulling my hair, a few strands at a time, and knocking on the wall. It wasn't very fun, but we survived. Other than the poor sleep, the kids did amazingly well on the drive. Hannah only cried briefly two times and everyone got along well. Tom played a total of 5 movies over the course of the two day drive and the kids occupied themselves the rest of the time. Once we arrived in Ardmore, we checked into out hotel and then ate dinner at iHop. A lady stopped me on the way out of the restaurant to compliment the kids and it turned out she'd spent her high school years living in Wyoming. We finished the evening with some fun in the pool.

Such flat land and straight roads. I’m from West Virginia, our roads are twisty and curvy. Not use to seeing land like that. Your children are so well behaved. To travel with 9 children and they all seem to get along very good with each other.

It is interesting as my friends kiddos were talking well by 15 months but couldn't walk...so we have babies born the same day and her daughter would tell mybdaughter what tobget for her and mybdaughter would go and get it...it was hilarious.
