I was actually fortunate enough, before I left my parks and recreation job, to have a shift where I would unlock a field for a group of senior slowpitch players to drop in and get some BP. Damn near all of them were exactly like Coach Mark! Brash, unapologetic but you just wanted to tap into all that knowledge they had accumulated (some had been playing vastly longer then I had been alive and I'm in my mid 30s!) Sadly they're a bit of a dying breed so if you get a chance to meet folks like him, enjoy every bit of it!

After watching this video, this is definitely one of those "get what you pay for" scenarios, because the 100k coach was attentive, approachable, made sure you understood what he was saying before moving on. $50 Coach was more of a diamond in the rough kind of guy, where somebody recommended him to you because that's how good he is. $1000 Coach had the techniques and the talking points down, but the relatability wasn't there for me.

$100 coach is like a coach I worked with. The concept being give a goal (in this case hit between the yellow and red lines) and your body will naturally do or move however it has to in order to meet the goals. It has some merit, and if he was only getting 1 session with the hitters I can see why he did it.
