The fact the rig is wet at the start abd the dirt comes out so easily just with water from the watering can suggest this is a total set up, the rug was dirtied just for the video, this is not years of ingrained dirt.

I've worked with rugs and carpets. Nothing gets that dirty. I've seen rugs in landfills cleaner than that. That was a perfectly good rug that's been soiled too look dirty, the dirt is too evenly distributed there would be foot wear. Your technique sure does clean well, even though it was a sells pitch.

My father brought back several beautiful rugs from the Middle East when he was in the military. He gave them to his parents and it was so funny how they valued it and wanted to keep them pristine and clean (no shoes to be worn on them, no excuses, don’t eat or drink anywhere near them, etc. This was in their house with the dinning room and only room with a tv… what was an infant through teenager to do?) Anyways, when grandma passed away my father rolled up the two rugs and we carried them outside where we pressure washed them like this in the driveway 🤣.

No way that rug was THAT full of dirt. They took the rug outside and soaked it in mud just to make the video. Other restoration type channels do this as well. Artificially add damage to an item then do the restore. Sad.

Hi dear friend We receive 100 carpets a day from customers for washing, and one or two of them are dirty like this. Most of the strangely dirty carpets have been used by the owners in work and public places. Many carpets are used by the owner in the garden for weekend cleaning, but they are not properly maintained, and many are used at work and in the open environment.

I love these types of videos my only complaint is I feel like it would be easier if you hung the rugs up on the wall when spraying them. That way all the dirt and grime doesn’t sit in a puddle under and around the rug. It will just run down the wall? Idk just my thoughts

Hard to believe a carpet could hold so much crud. How could someone let it go that far? Glad it was the hardest, I'd hate to think that was normal daily. I would have assumed it was clean half way through. Then again, you obviously have to keep going till you see clean water going down the drain.

My guess is the rug was saturated in silt-laden water from a flood. Excellent restoration.

I have traveled a bit and noticed that they use carpets on the ground in some outdoor environments such as bazaars and as the floors of large tents, and can imagine how dirty things can get if soil is tracked in from an unpaved exterior.
