This event is an example why I have become a free-to-play player. I used my pokecoins from gyms and purchased 3 incubators, I hatched 20 eggs during this event before I got a Shiny Larvesta hatch. If I had spent $100 and not gotten any shinys, I would be highly ticked off. Good luck on your future adventures. I enjoyed your GoFest videos.

@@AlexNextonOnlh thing that paying gives an advantage is getting level 50 quicker. Paying allows you to get medals like hatch 2500 eggs and the medals that involve beating raids and legendary raids… you also have better chance at getting better pokemon by being able to hatch a lot of eggs

I don’t bother spending money on incubators. I prefer to spend on remote passes.

I hatched ~130 eggs. I have a feeling that in the 10 km the chances for Charcadet were just higher. My bests are 98% turtonator, shiny Growlithe, 98% Slugma, 96% Charcadet. I got only ONE shiny from this amount of eggs which is riddiculus because i hatched 20 Slugmas and 10 Litleos. Only 4 Turtonators, but I got 15 Charcadets. I can give them for free right now xD

Haching eggs is too much like gambling to me. So I mainly use the inifinte incubator, and buy inbucators for big events with boosts, like Go Fest, or if I really want to chase something, like Christmas Psyduck of course.

Ya I definitely don’t regret dropping mass hatching back in 2018 and focusing any money into other aspects of the game. Every egg related event is always like this, “boosted” odds with no way to know to what degree they are boosted from the base odds outside of events. Breeding should be a thing in pogo , make random stops become a breeder stop for an hour and you can get a full bag of eggs from them when you drop off two mons.

It is always interesting to see the difference in F2P and paying. Personally, I rarely buy incubators, hatching eggs always feels like a chore for nothing! Can't say you didn't try, though. Well done on the effort👊🏻💜

To go to level 50 you need 35 platinum medals, paying for incubators will finish that medal much faster, same with beating raids

My free account has been spooned I got two shiny eggs before I did on my main also my first yvvelta raid I got a shiny I got larvesta in like my first 3 eggs aswell
