Good battle but it would be better if the scoreboard displayed CIWS health as starting at 10,000 so we can see how the battle is going. Just a thought.

Well, technically, since the sentry has unlimited ammo and doesn't overheat, all it needed to do was spin on its Z axis while continously firing. What would be really interesting is a scenario where these had to occasionally cool down and or reload so it would trade off with a fresh unit with a few others doing likewise, so the AI would have to juggle this necessity.

They don't overheat though. They're literally designed not to. The barrels are 78 inches long, and between the 6 of them, they only experience a relative fire rate of 750 rpm. Between the length and thickness of the barrel giving it the ability to absorb more heat that your average heavy machine gun, and the fact that it's spinning through the air, accelerating the cooling process, they do not overheat.

I've seen a couple of videos similar to this one, and the thing that irks me in every single one, is that everyone seems to think these overheat. My brother in Christ, it has six barrels, that experience a relative fire rate of 750 RPM, they are 78 in long. The amount of heat they can absorb, is already immense, but when coupled with their length, surface area, and the fact that they're spinning through the air, they do not overheat.
