yeah i have had the battery checked twice at my dealership and they say its fine and wont replace it.

I just got my ford maverick a few weeks ago and am hopin I don't run into these issues especially since in SouthTexas it doesnt't get that cold plus I do drive a lot on the weeknds...I can see where you're like what the hekclll....lol...nice color though

The 3 year plan is good. Especially if you buy something that you like. I looked at this Maverick hard. Comes down to a road cruiser and a minivan always comes out ahead. You can feel the difference in a better quality of ride. Just my opinion

The ford bms will read the battery state every start up and the alternator will cycle on and off while driving to maintain that state of charge and on short drives the voltage may not drop low enough to cycle the alternator. Never had the issue on my 13 f150 but I also drive 20 miles one way to work. When I put my snow plow on the truck I had the company that made my custom tunes make it so it cycles the alternator more often

I was having deep sleep issues with my 2022 Maverick, would get a notification on my phone from time to time. I ended up turning off the location tracking feature found in the settings on the radio (lets you track the location of the truck in the Ford app). Never had a deep sleep issue since I turned that setting off. Might be worth a try in your case too.

Basically, in Ford Boss Me's video, he shows that the 12v battery terminals metallurgy doesn't adhere very well to solder causing a bad connection. He ends up using good quality copper terminals. It's not shown in that video, but look for the follow-up video where he does some bench work on the under-hood battery box terminals. Why would you ever get a eco boost? Then just get a tacoma. If you get a hybrid it gets such great mpg which is the only reason you should get a truck like this
