I saw them at superstore but wasn't sure if it was the same one so I didn't buy and went home to watch your video to see if it was the same fan. Welcome to the club! Yes the superstore ones are totally the ones I have haha I don't have them linked anywhere because I've never been able to find them online!! I'd say they're very similar to the Vornado in size/sound but Vornado's push more air! That heat wave was THE WORST.

I used your last video as inspiration and I love the updates so thank you! I finally came across a Milsbo at ikea and drive 2 hrs home just to discover the very last piece (the final door to mount) had a manufacturing error and had no holes in it lol so I just tied the door to the cabinet for the time being 🙃 being a plant parent doesn’t always go how we’d like sometimes, but here’s hoping these cabinets come back so I can get a door replacement.

Questions about predator bugs, what do you use? Lady bugs? Do they bother you all? Bugs freak me out a bit but if it's better than having to deal with pests I'm considering
@PlanteriorDecorator2 жыл бұрын
I personally use pirate beetles and a couple different mites (depends on which bugs you're trying to get rid of). The beetles are really tiny so I never notice them!! Lady bugs or lacewings would definitely be more big and buggy 😆

Thank you for your very informative post! I will be getting a tall milsbo soon, and am starting to think about grow lights. I'm curious if the Mother light you have is 16 inch, or 32 inch? When I searched the website, the plant spectrum 16 was the only light I saw that would fit the top of the tall milsbo. However, I see that you have the plant spectrum 32 (which I only see in a 32 inch). Thank you in advance!

@clari11253 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I am a new follower. Thank you so much for your video. It helped me set up my Milsbo. I purchased 2 of them. But to be perfectly honest I don’t close the doors anymore, run the humidifier or anything. I have one that with doors open reaches about 60% . Of course I live in Miami so not like Canada at all. I was having a problem finding fans with sufficiently long cords that would reach my power source, so I could not place one at every level. I also didn’t have enough outlets on my power source. Lastly, it bothered me to see the fan shaking the leaves of my plants. I keep remembering that ppl always tell you to keep plants away from cold drafts like the AC. Another problem I had in one of my cabinets was developing yellow mold in some of the leaves of certain plants. This all brings me to my question- can you tell us a little bit about your anthuriums and why some are exhibiting a little bit of yellow edging on some leaves? As well as, do beneficial bugs eat fungus growing on the soil? I greatly appreciate your video, time and feedback. Have a great day!
@PlanteriorDecorator3 жыл бұрын
A lot of great questions! 🌿 I import plants, so the yellow tipped leaves are the old leaves that have been in the mail. I usually remove these damaged leaves once the plant has a few new ones 🌿 As for the fans, as long as it's not 'drafty' and cold, air circulation is a must! In fact, wiggling leaves actually helps strengthen a plant from what I've seen since it mimics gentle wind 😁 people actually shake their FLFs to make them grow stronger! My greenhouses are usually 24°C with the fans on, so no chilly drafts in there. A lack of airflow can result in bacterial leaf infections due to damp leaves. This looks like orange spots on plants that are sometimes weepy - if you end up with this you should quarantine the plant for a while to prevent spread & treat with a sulphur spray! It stinks, but it works great for stopping the spread 👍🏻 Hope that helps! 😁 Thanks for the questions and the opportunity to clarify! 🌿🌿🌿

You can flip the website to CAD, but you're correct! These are certainly more of a longterm investment light - if it's in your budget. Definitely a nice-to-have with the warranty/replaceable LED, but possible to achieve a similar look on a budget too!!

You prefer the new mother lights over the feit elec ones?
@PlanteriorDecorator3 жыл бұрын
So far, yes! I truly never minded the pinkish Feit light colour... but I did start to notice after a year that the Feit lights were starting to dim. I assume that just comes with quality since they're quite a bit cheaper. Best selling point for these Mother lights is knowing that I have a whole 4 year warranty on the LED board if it starts to dim and not work as well! They're definitely more of an investment, but worth it for the warranty and usability with different mounts!
@CarbonKevin3 жыл бұрын
You can still make those handles work! Epoxy is your friend and 100% will work if you prepare the surfaces properly. You just may need to cut off the posts if they're in the way!

@PlanteriorDecorator3 жыл бұрын
So far I've been using them for a little over a month! I will say they gave my plants a 2nd pre-winter wind with all the new leaves popping haha These are certainly much more of an investment than the Fiat lights I previously had: both are good and will keep your plants happy, but I'm going to order myself a couple more of these for the longterm investment! I love the warranty and the replaceable LED board 💡
