Your content made me go back to school after over 10 years. I have even enrolled for master's program. I also quit my job after 13 years!!! You kept prompting and challenging me. Thanks for sharing your journey. People don't understand how it's hard to make a decision to focus on motherhood or juggle career growth both are important but when done incorrectly they can ruin your life. Glad to see you back.

Good to see you back, My life update, I am writing my novel, currently on chapter 10, an autobiography. However, I am struggling with thoughts that my story is not good enough, telling myself that people have been through worse, my struggles are too small to share, Bla Bla Bla, regardless I've always attempted writing it since 15 and kept on giving up, I know for sure there's something there to share. Right now, I feel like I've done something, yet I still feel like a fraud. You are my Ugandan role model aside from my mum, hopefully, one day, you will read my work. Your review would matter a lot.

Hello Flavia, congratualtions on your new career. I know you might already have heard people telling you coding is hard, or that you will be competiting with some who started coding way back as kids. I was once there during my Bachelor's degree. In my experience, learning never ends and limitations and timelines are just imposed by humans. I have been coding since my undergraduate degree, and later relapsed for 2 or more years and then joined my graduate degree and resumed coding again. It is just a language that you need to practice. And like any other language (spoken), you can easily learn it in a year or two or even months. Do not listen to such people, good luck with coding.

Welcome back Flavia, you are looking great. Congratulations on completing your studies and sucessfully transitioning to a whole new career. I too have just finshed a a course, one and half years. While I am not in a hurry to leave my job (because I actually missed it while i paused to study), am glad I have my back up plan to fall back on.The irony of it all is that I started studying to change my career direction, but while away I missed my work. I cant wait to hear all about the ins and outs of your last year. I can not believe the twins are already one year. A tech person now, you never cease to amaze me.

I appreciate your decision to prioritize your children over your career. Not many mothers in the 21st century make that choice. I have a feeling that this break is just temporary. In a few years, when the twins are older, you will be back in full force.
